What else can we test in the ultrasonic cleaner??
yes
Put cotton candy in it!!!
Marshmallow
a dog
i think you dan do SLIME!!?!!
Today I learned that Oh the Places You'll Go! takes place on the surface of a partially dissolved jawbreaker.
Came here to say this đ
I was gonna say yhat
So does Burning Man.
That's what I thought to.đđ€Ł
Also came here to say this
The Coke in slow motion looks like a lot of mini explosions
It also looks like fungus lol
it technically is a lot of mini explosions. it is a chemical release resulting in a pressure based expansion.
@@blinkin304 I can appreciate a smart human
@@_greeek I saw it and immediately thought mold
Geysers, if you will?
Pro Tip: When using an ultrasonic cleaner, you can put your cleaning solution and the part your cleaning into a glass jar and then put it in the cleaner that is filled with water. This makes it so you don't have to use an entire bottle/tub of cleaning solution if you're cleaning small things like jewelry and makes the storage of cleaners that can be used multiple times much easier and safer.
The ultrasonic waves pass right through the glass with no issue. It is not recommended to use plastic containers because they could absorb the waves and hurt the efficiency of the cleaner.
You could actually do this and show different things dissolving in multiple liquids without having to swap out the liquid for something different :D
soooooo double vibration?
Put Coke and mentos in the ultrasonic cleaner it will be interesting
YES
No u need to do that to the coke then take it out and put the mentos in it
Rootbeer and vanilla ice cream? Like a Rootbeer float
you wouldn't have time to turn it on, the reaction with the mentos would be instant.
It wouldnât do much, the ultrasonic cleaner makes all the gas go out instantly, so does the mentos. What matters is how much gas is in the soda.
6:13
Nate: being sciency and kinda nerdy (no offense)
Cali: *proceeds to repeatedly lick jawbreaker*
Wonder if chicks use this
You should try dissolving jello or bath bombs in ultrasonic cleaner
Like if your in Early squad
yep
BATHBOMS YES
Dissolve a Stretch Armstrong
Yessir
Iâm not early but not last
Iâm curious if theyâd taken that chalk from the ultrasonic bath and put it in the vacuum chamber to quickly sublimate all the water off how it wouldâve acted after
7:29 "holy cow!" "Holey indeed"
That pun got me dying đ€Ł
Asking TKOR to make a giant jelly bean until they do. Day 29
YES
YESS WHAT IF THEY DID A GIANT BEANBOOZLED
We've seen your comments (and everyone else's) and we applaud the dedication! We're trying to figure out how to make this one as soon as we can!
@@TheKingofRandom thank you so much. I appreciate you guys hearing my ideas out đ€
@@thomasreilley4205 well, you basically forced it on them
Ultrasonic diet Coke and Mentos all at once, see if you can break the record height đ
Yes, put the whole bottle in the machine so the reaction works
This has so many reasons why it would do nothing
@@danielbotts3317 it would do something
@@The-Listener ultrasonic vibrations would make the diet coke immediately flat and therefore the mentos wouldnt do anything
I'm talking about putting the bottle in and turning on the ultrasound as you put Mentos in, it most assuredly will do something
I just wish we actually got to see the mess the Coca-Cola made.
If you were to put the actual coke bottle itself in the ultrassonic cleaner, the effect is exactly the same as putting mentos inside.
The Backyard Scientist did this a few years ago, it's really cool.
I will do a video of that myself
They should put random things in a humidifier
@@jellytron-vs1zp They've already done that

LOL
We appreciate the dedication đđ
@@TheKingofRandom no way. No way. Ya just replied. No fudging way. Yeah. THAT JUST MADE MY NIGHT!
Havenât watched it yet but bet itâs gonna be awesome
Yep!
I havenât seen you before but I bet you do this on every video you see
Am I the only one who thought when the coke was fizing it looked like mold growing?
nope, it does looks like that
Same doe.
I thought too
Bruh I didnât even know ultrasonic cleaners were a thing
xd same

Ikr!
Likely hollow long it took to get through processing
Lo
What in the name of 2020?!?!?
They probably release the video early to patrons or something.
The Coke looks like something molding in timelapse
It does
Iâve been loving the new intros lately
Me too!
Thanks!!
I love the candy videos!:)

One reason why I like you guys: you have no lack of anything exempt boringness

XD
Bubblegum might be interesting to watch dissolve. Will it disintegrate into nothing or leave rubbery tar stuff behind? Orbeez or Polyacrylate (from diapers) might also be something interesting to try out in the Ultrasonic Vibrations chamber... maybe.
That was Amazing, love how that dissolved
Congrats early people!
Thanks
Ty!
I might need help. When im sooo early
yeye
Ty... xD I'm not early tho
Iâve been thinking, since the reaction of Coke and Mentos is because of the texture of the Mentos if you make a mold using the Mentos would it have the same reaction with some things like say gummy
That's an interesting hypothesis.
aww man the slow mo on the coke
Yay a video with these two đ„ș
Hi love the vids!
me too :3
Thats not oddly satisfying! Its just satisfying.
what is the point of your comment
And that is not odd.
@@ROTONDRES does there need to be one?đđđ
The soda was pure genius. Well done, Nate!
Ultrasonic marination. Fill 2 sealed bags with a steak and marinade, put one in the cleaner, and one outside the cleaner. Marinate for maybe an hour or something and then cook them to see if the texture or flavor is noticeably different.
8:10 looks like something from the Lorax
Interesting video but I want to see either brew coffee in a washer or a dishwasher. Also attempt pressure washer coffee. Additionally try to ultrasonic brew coffee.
Love your videos ive been watching for 3 years!
That slo mo coke footage was amazing, thank you
Noone is going to talk about Nate with the "ultra sonic vibrator" comment
Ultrasonic cleaner + eegs with the shell and without and see what happens?
:O
That 35k vibration thing sounds like a marriage saver đ„ž
Use the ultra sonic cleaner to get rid of the air bubbles in water to make crystal clear ice
This is probably what Louis Rossmann's employees want to do with the ultrasonic
xD
8:10 it looks like something out if a doctor Suess book tf
This is such a satisfying video! Love the video!
I swear, Calli be lookin right
you should try boiling liquid nitrogen. or dry ice.
Liguid nitrogen is already boiling
MAKE A GIANT SALT WATER TAFFY!!! sorry for yelling
New side project for Cali, keep a running count of licks on a jaw breaker, and post updates periodically in other videos. Nate: and now for an update from Cali. Cali: 4568, 4569, 3570... Nate: riveting information, Cali, keep us updated.
Candies cleaned with ultrasonics, awesomeđ
I wonder how effective it would be at cleaning fishing reels used in saltwater, or that have never been serviced
Well it says it's made for cleaning jewelry I don't think the fishing line would survive but you could probably clean the mechanism
its more fun to microwave the huge jawbreaker... liquefied the core and it explodes.
3:49 "diggin deeper just to throw it away! "
The green highlighter was soooo cool

"Crayons don't care about a ultrasonic vibrator."
I guess that's one way to put it.
I love how realistic Nate is
If you left half of a thin sheet of metal in it but left the other half out, would it eventually break in half or at least change the thickness of it?
:o
Does that sound when its on make anyone else feel itchy *in* your muscles
I can feel it go through me. Makes me want to recoil from the source of the noise
Yes, it's almost painful. Since it's an ultrasonic cleaner, it uses frequencies that humans normally can't hear (20 kHz+) but also produces some lower frequencies. I think I'm recognizing at least 3 harmonic frequencies by ear. And those sounds at the upper threshold of our hearing (variable by individual) can be downright painful or give that "nails on chalkboard" reaction

They exposing Mc'Donalds with that sprite lol
The damage done is by a process known as 'cavitation'. It's powerful enough to pit the brass that ships' propellors are made from.
The crayon should have micro fractures making it brittle.
i searched "e" and found this.
I have a suggestion
What if you use this machine to test if it would have the same effect on silicone when you put it in a vacuum chamber. MAYBE it woupd also have a reaction similar to removing the tiny bubbles when trying to make molds
I miss Grant's more project oriented videos. any chance you might do something like those in the future?
ok but why is the channelâs comment from three days ago?
They always do that and I dont understand how
idk glitch
We upload videos early and schedule them to release later!
@@TheKingofRandom Ah thatâs cool.
Just so Calli knows, I've had a mega jawbreaker, and licking it for over a Week for like 20 minutes a day (or until my tongue hurt) and it managed to get only through one side. it took Days to get to the center lol
That give me an idea, that would so work on degassing wine!!
That slow-mo with coke was TRIPPY
I miss the DIY projects. Like the blowgun, boomerang, super scorcher, etc
The jawbreaker looked like a Dr Seuss landscape.
See what happens to LEGOâs in the ultrasonic machine.
Try full can of soda between building up pressure and the fact that the ultrasonic cleaner will put micro fissures in aluminum the end result could be very interesting!
So friking awesome!!!
Calli in a tan looks great
Hi I love your videosâ€ïžâ€ïž

Sorry for the comment not being on topic but I have been thinking about this for a long time and I've watched you guys play around with helium and sulfur hexafluoride and I loved and hearing how the pitches of voices in the other things that you've guys done with those as well the results have came out I like how the results of came out so I was curious if you guys could try pressurizing a small air compressor with helium and also sulfur hexafluoride to see if it will affect the mechanical sounds of a nail gun
Awesome slow mo!
Wow! This episode was murder on my ears. I can actually hear well past 17Khz and my studio monitors were just laser beaming me... UGH! LOL!
Try freeze drying a jelly fruit
Also you should try making a giant twizzler
Love your vids
Should put acetone in the ultrasonic cleaner and drop some lego in it. You should also have a stationary control right next to it. Make sure there is plenty of ventilation though.
Not gonna lie...the coke in slow mo just looked like it was molding. xD
ikr. I have a fear of mold for some reason and I screamed and covered my eyes at that part XD
I used to repair ultrasonic bathes. To test and see how well it works we would put a piece of aluminum foil in the bath. When it is working correctly it makes holes in the foil.
I wonder how cool the highlighters would be under black light when it's put into that thing! Lol
I love yall videos
Did the coke slo mo make anyone else VERY!!! UNCOMFORTABLE
What about making a jawbreaker? That would be cool!
Can you do an experiment with glow sticks?
I'd love to see Jello in it
you guys are the best and you really are random :)
These highlighters be like: I BLEED IT OUT I OPEN UP THESE WOUNDS ILL MAKE YOU FACE ME
The plateau stage looks like itâs directly from Dr. Seuss!
Itâs amazing
Me looks at all the things that they are going to melt
My Brain : That seems edible
That Coke looked like a bunch of tiny fireworks or something. Super cool!
Carbonation was dope
