I just realized how well Nate would get along with kids at my school. My school has microwaves and a toaster available for kids to use, and people manage to burn the strangest things. Everybody makes their ramen by putting it in the microwave, except sometimes people would forget to put water in and burn it, as seen in video, and the entire school would smell HORRIBLE. It got to the point where ramen was banned for a couple months. Now you aren't allowed to have Styrofoam in the microwave, but people still find ways to burn things. One kid microwaved a bowl of coke for a while, that was an entirely new level of bad smell. Come burned, bowl cracked and stained and chipped. Btw, I have a really weird school.

Clearly, after the Ivory soap adventure, the next idea for the microwave is seeing what different brands of soap do in the ol' nuker!
Try some vacuum sealed glass tubes and sealed glass tubes at atmospheric pressure but with different gases.
One more same tubes at different extreme temperatures, warm hot and cold.
Try all of the above at different microwave intensities.
It should be fun and you should find one of the combination is able to hold the plasma for very long if not forever.

Throw in a pingpong ball... They have a interesting reaction... Along with a grape cut halfway with a bit of skin still attaching the two halves (this is important and gives you the reaction)
Slightly more dangerous: doritos bag. Wont spoil the reaction but its surprising

What I personally think was really interesting is when it came to the regular light bulb it light up different colors, was extremely bright and then exploded. What I think was even more interesting is when you used a black light bulb. Because of the tint from the black light bulb you could see where what looked like plasma was building up around the top of the bulb, heating the glass before causing it to explode. That's pretty cool. I've watched a lot of plasma videos and that was one of the more interesting things I've seen

That’s how I make my s’mores. I take a couple squares from a chocolate bar, put them down on a graham cracker, and microwave a marshmallow to quickly put on top of the chocolate. Best idea I ever came up with, honestly.
My wife when she was on mat leave. Put a kraft dinner cup in the microwave without water. Dealing with a small child, she was distracted. It caught on fire. The smell of burning dried pasta stayed around for days. Haha

a couple tricks when microwaving lightbulbs...not recommmended for anyone at home, but for the TKOR professional crew...
don't stick them in the very center...because the bulb is not moving and there tends to be a standing wave peak in the center, it is a "hot spot" and likely to make the bulb pop
when running the microwave for a long time with the bulb in there, try putting another container _over_ the bulb to contain the explosion. be sure air can escape though...
If you're going to use a liquid to try to reduce the temperature, be sure that the bulb is completely submerged in a volume at least double the bulb's volume to increase the amount of thermal insulation as well as absorbing as many waves as possible since the water will get hotter faster in smaller quantities...
just some thoughts and suggestions...
also, I believe smaller bulbs work better in general, but it might depend on the wattage of your micorwave...

Lmao I've cooked Ramen noodles in a cup in a microwave all my life. That's how my family always done it. Fill it to the line cook for 3:30. I never had a problem tasted cooked and fine to me. Never noticed the boil water part up until couple years ago but I still do it in the microwave. It doesn't hurt anything

I had a microwave item when I was a kid. One garlic clove for about 30 seconds produces a lot of thick smelly white smoke fast and lingers quite a bit.
