what i meant was that insteand of mbk1997 putting ntt pilot episodes in parts like 1 of 3 he could make them full episodes and the same with the 1984 pilot tournament episodes and the 1985 episodes and the full episodes of face the music pilot

You're absolutely right. This episode did come between the first and second tournaments of the regular season (disregarding the tournament of the first two weeks of the series).

I'm pretty sure WABC-TV Channel 7 New York carried the 1984-85 NTT revival, but which station in L.A. carried NTT? Since it was taped Golden West Studios, was it KTLA Channel 5?
The USA: America's Favorite Cable Network mark appears briefly at the 13:10 mark. Back then, USA reruns were much original broadcasts. No logo appeared at all.

It is from the USA Rerun. I know because I started this show on the trading circuit 8 years ago. Although I can see why you thought it was an original broadcast.

And I’M pretty sure WAVE 3 Louisville carried the 1984-85 revival every weeknight at 7:30 right after NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw.
