This has always been on my to do list, and I can finally cross it off, the Half Life 2 Stun Baton. FUTURISTIC Riot G3AR is coming along VERY nicely!
You could also see this as Nightwing's Escrima Stick! If you're not familiar with this character, he is the older version of Robin and he is a freaking BADASS. Must of his gadgets are electrical based like mine!

I think this is a pretty good upgrade. One thing is the flashlight would be pretty cool - something ridiculously powerful for something that size. I would also point-off the exposed threaded portions to better, easier contact (and discomfort) can be had at the push-press portion of the business-end of this monster.
That thing is sick! I love the Half Life games so I'm geeking out right now.

Put some cap nuts on top of the threaded rod for a more aesthetic appearance as well. Other than that, looks awesome! Really love how this channel has grown and improved.
Suggestion: You should paint the threaded rod blue! I think it would make it look really good.

I noticed a crick in my hip lately and thought "I need a cane but I want something a little more cool." I've been thinking about making my own. That or a fire Lance, with a rocket motor in the end, a striker with percussion cap, linked by a cable to a trigger in the handle.

Maybe, but You'd need way more battery space. Something like the proto saber from Starwars comics. Look it up. basically a battery backpack.

2 issues with this plastic top part.
1.the plastic top will heat up and melt with the electric current through the screws.
2.it can't stand the physical shock of being used as a baton,specially at the tip which hits with the maximum force.
You need to build the same part in some metal and coat it in rubber/plastic.
