Funnily enough, in an interview with Czech sports media Prochazka said he made many horrible mistakes, was very disappointed with his performance but obviously glad at the outcome. I have followed him for a long time while he was fighting with RIZIN. He is a humble and intelligent guy and will go far in the UFC. When he speaks in his own language, his intelligence comes through, he can't quite express it all in English yet.

When speaking to a fighter who is not fluent in English the UFC staff should slow down and use simple words. It's both common sense and common courtesy. Congrats Jiri!

It is clasical mistake i think, but, as far as jiri is concerned, he pretty good answered to all questions. The guy should lead the interview in more convenient atmosphere

@@YT-cj3cf In the Czech Republic, he often talks about what he read, studied and internalised about bushido. Shame he cannot express himself in English so much, but check out his youtube channel which has a lot on his philosophy, meditation etc with English subtitles. He would never keep punching if the guy is down and out. No hurting anyone if it is not necessary anymore. Just his attitude.

That 1 decision is from fight with Mark Tanios, where Jiri got injured his knee very bad in 2nd minute of fight which put him out for 1 year. It was impresive that Jiri survived that fight and won it on top of that.

his punches were coming from very unpredictable angles as well. the last 20 seconds of the fight was like he entered the matrix. He dodged all of volkan's shots and was landing huge shots at the same time.

@taylorgordon93 Chins can crack no matter how great, happened to Chuck Liddell, Dan Henderson, and Fedor Emelianenko. The longer a fighter avoids taking big shots the longer their chin will hold up.

Random thought: I believe when you chase some sort of objective and tell yourself “I’ll be happy once I get this or once I have this or do this” you’ll find that once you get that thing you’re no different than before. I believe the path to happiness is within, not some external point to run to, so look within and find a perspective that allows you to be happy in the present. And I think we should spend most our time in the present because happiness is maximized when you’re lost in the moment and not thinking of something else while you’re doing whatever it is that is bringing you happiness. I find meditation helps practice being present and being in your body more than your mind. I also find that while meditating the mind is put at ease, making it easier to find a healthy perspective on things. Peace and love mis amigos eternos :)

Jones can make his money in light heavy with this guy. He might need a couple more fights first
I like this guy. His general persona along with the language barrier is endearing and will make him more popular. Also, he just walked in and KO'd the #7 LHW and I hadn't heard of the guy a month ago. I dont think he can go take out Jones RIGHT NOW. But, let him knockout one or two more top guys, preferrably in main events to get the 4-5 round experience with the best of the best and see if he can take out Bones.
Those 4-5 rounds shouldn´t be a problem (cardio). Watch his 10minutes first round with Vadim Nemkov, that was insane :-D
@Brett: That is exactly what he said himself after the fight. I have been following him for a long time at Rizin (I live in Japan), so I know he is always humble and realistic. He said he would accept and fight anyone the UFC determine, and would love to go for the title sometime, but right now, he said, he is not ready for Jones yet. He said he needs more experience in the UFC, needs to make some improvements and then he would love the opportunity, but right now he acknowledges that he is not quite ready for Jones.
