The Czech Republic keeps pumping out really good players, because their system puts such a huge emphasis on technique and footwork...fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals...Serve, fore court, back court. When you look at the fact that a player the stature of Naomi Osaka, former number one in the world, doesn't even know how to hit a proper slice backhand, you understand why the Czechs keep winning Grand Slam titles consistently over the last 50 years. Their system is based on producing complete players. Jasmine played great. I was rooting for her, but it wasn't her day. Jasmine, like Barbora, is another complete tennis player. She also possesses the full skill set, no holes in her game. She'll surely get another chance at a Wimbledon title.
