- ‘Light of Dawn’ is a visual representation of an original circus act developed and choreographed by DUO UNITY. The Cyr Wheel Duo has been performing together internationally after having won the Bronze Medal at the well known Circus Festival ‘Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain’ in Paris in 2015 for their unique and innovative act.
Traveling the world together and discovering different theater stages, arenas, circus tents and cabarets, Duo Unity performed for the last two years (2017 & 2018) in the world famous Moulin Rouge in Paris.

I think it is Cheryl..I think it’s what the Divine wants us to learn, innerstand and express as the Divine masculine and Feminine. I think this is the purest of our energies captured in dance 💃 form..simply beautiful!

Must be the most beautiful act of a duo in the entire world! I am a cyr wheel performer and know how hard it is to learn by yourself but to go duo and do these tricks and transitions, the trust and harmony, the flow, the timing and to look super in love and happy whilst doing it, MAN that is true art. The filming, the set, the lighting, just everything is well put together and executed. Everything pulling together, as one big piece of beautifulness! Well done to everyone involved, it is a masterpiece!!

Holy crap I cannot stop watching this and a few of the other versions of the same act. I love how you can see their faces in this version-- they are so handsome and beautiful and so expressive. This whole act is just so incredibly creative, beautiful and meaningful. I think its symbolizes such a loving, supportive, exciting, close romantic relationship. I discovered the cyr wheel this summer at gymnastic camp and I am obsessed. It is so beautiful and this dance is amazing! I hope to learn to dance this beautiful on one someday!

The music is perfect for the performance, and now I see it was composed specifically for your Duo. I can't add to what other commenters have said, but I do find new aspects each time I watch your artistry. For example, Francis' spectacular cartwheels are perfectly circular, echoing the circle theme that underlies the work. Lea's skirt swirls in circular forms as she spins. Then again, the device is called the Cyr(cle)!
