I have a question. We have the same pruner at work and I replaced the black shaft but the shafts inside, something keeps coming apart and then the chainsaw stops turning. I can't figure out how the shaft is held in on the trigger end of it. It looks like it goes into a bearing or something but I can't tell how it stays in place. Can you help me with this?
If you’ll call 850-584-5515 after 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, I’ll pull it up on the parts program and check it out. It’s been awhile. Ask for Lester, and tell them your calling from CZcams, and they’ll give me the message immediately.

The end of the shaft should be tapered where it goes in the bearing
The end of the shaft should be tapered where it goes in the bearing
@@lesteroliveintheshop9825 is there anything else that holds it in place? It should just slide into that bearing or is does it go in kinda hard?

That's not true. I got the coupler off without cutting anything. You just got to loosen the Allen screws more.
Mine was damaged
