learn how to design and create your very own miniature city for your school mini city model project.
You would learn how to create houses, buildings, trees and streets for your city.
ALL dimensions are in INCHES and all Paper is Cardstock
For our city base we used a 27 ½ x 39 piece of foam board!

SMALL HOUSE
Dimensions 2 x 3 x 4 ½ high
1. 1 piece of cream 10 ½ x 5
a. Score on 10 ½ side at 2, 5, 7, 10
b. Score on 5 side at ½ and 3
2. 1 piece of brown for roof 3 ½ x 5 scored on 5 side at 2 ½
3. 1 piece of cream 2 x 3 base of house
LARGE HOUSE
Dimensions 4 ½ x 4 5 ½ high
House 1(2x3)
1. 1 piece of green 10 ½ x 7
a. Score on 10 ½ side at 2, 5, 7, 10
b. Score on 7 side at ½ and 5
2. 1 pieces of gold 3 ¼ x 5 for roof scored on 5 side at 2 ½
House 2 - Front (2x3)
1. 1 piece of green 10 ½ x 3 ¼
a. Score on 10 ½ side at 2, 5, 7, 10
b. Score on 3 ¼ side at ½ and 2 ½
2. 1 piece of gold 3 ¼ x 2 ½ left flat (
House 3 - Side (1 ½x2)

Awning for house:
1. 1 piece 2 x 4 ½ scored on 2 at ¼ and 1 ¼ and scalloped on the 4 ½ side.
2. 1 piece of gold 2 x 4 scored at 2 on ½, 1, 1 ½ and folded and stuck into a triangle as shown
* Houses would need doors and windows
SQUARE SHAPED TOWER
(Chase towers)
Dimensions 2 x 2 inches 10 high
1. 1 piece of grey 8 ½ x 11
a. Score on 8 ½ side at 2, 4, 6, 8
b. Score on 11 side at 1/2 , 9
2. 4 silver pieces of 1 ¾ x 1 ¾

OCTAGON SHAPED TOWER
(Modeled after the Twin Towers)
Dimensions 3 ¼ x 3 ¼ x 10 high
(for each tower)

a. Score on 12 ½ side at 2 ½, 3, 5 ½, 6, 8 ½, 9, 11 1/2 , 12
2. 2 pieces of tan 6 ½ x 4
a. Score on 6 ½ at ½, 1, 3 ½, 4

ECLIPSE SHAPED TOWER
(Modeled after Nicholas Tower)

b. Score on 5 ½ side at ½ and 10 ½
c. Score pattern for building windows:
i. Down (11) ¼, ¼, 1, ¼, ¼, 1
ii. Across (8 ½) every ½ inch
2. 1 piece of silver cardstock 3 x 3 ½
3. 6 pieces of mirror gold 4 ½ x 1/16
4. 2 piece of blue for roof and base 3 x 3
5. 3 pieces of white for inside support structures 4 ½ - 1 scored on 4 ½ side at ½ and 4
RECTANGULAR SHAPED BUILDING
(Modeled after the old Salvatori building)
Dimensions 5 x 3 x 5 ½ high
1. 2 pieces of light blue 8 ½ x 5 ½
a. Score on 8 ½ side at 5 and 8
b. Score on 5 ½ side at ¼ and 5 ¼
2. 6 pieces of cream 1 x 5
3. 2 pieces of cream 5 x 3 for roof and base

We absolutely did!!!! We made all the houses together (chase doing most of the work as it was his project) then I made some extra houses to record footage for the channel and to give them some to play with and then we recorded ourselves actually putting it together!! It was such great fun! Truly. 😁😁😁😁😁 Felt like I was back in school oui. 😂😂🏫
