I was so upset that he didn’t get through!!!! He risked his life for this act and hoped to win the show but the judges liked the comedian!!! Put Spencer back on the show!

@Derpy Turtle I think it's a little different when you turn on the TV wanting to be entertained and the guy entertaining you straight up goes "Hey, this could kill me, and if it does, you get to witness it." If either Jackie Chan or Tom Cruise die from a stunt, it happens behind the scenes. My late high school theater teacher used to tell us, if you're going to incorporate a stunt into a scene, don't make it so realistic that your audience starts worrying about your safety.
I feel like it’s not that people don’t respect the act, people just don’t want anything to end in tragedy so they stop sending people through. That way there is less chance of them trying something that is too far beyond their limits

Ok but the thing is that this show is staged in every way possible, even if the timer ran out they weren't gonna kill him, also they tried to time it for drama so the timer is almost gonna run out. That's probably why he stumbled in the last part, he had time to waste and wanted to create some extra drama

I love this kid to death and am so sad that the judges didn’t put him through! And for anyone saying it’s fake or whatever, I went to the premiere night of his Supernaturalists show with Criss Angel. That premiere was pushed off a day because he blacked out during his last tech rehearsal the day before. What Spencer does is 100% real.
How on earth did they pick the comedian over this guy to go through? This guy was insanely impressive.
SPENCER HORSMAN is underrated! He's been one of the best in the magic & suspense industry for decades! Even though he didn't get put thru, he will continue to soar ... Just watch!

Honestly as amazing and jaw-dropping as this act was, I completely understand why he did NOT go through. It’s BECAUSE he risked his life, not once, but with this performance three times trying to conquer this exact same act. Everyone has something to prove to themselves, but I believe he got the respect he deserved by the judges and the rest of America allowing him to keep his very life at the side of his beautiful wife.
I can’t imagine what must have been going through her mind when she saw the love of her life almost MISS his window for survival. The guy was barely hanging on the edge inside of the box, even with himself hooked in, it looked like his hands fumbled to properly latch himself on to the single harness. Which is probably why he was shaking when he was finally released. That and literally looking near death in the face for the third time? His prize was staying alive.
MAD Respect to this young man. You had me in TEARS when you made it!

The people saying this act was fake need to realise that if it was he wouldn't of had all of these previous problems with it, smashing his head in or blacking out under water. Yes it may not have been as refined as other stunt performers but it was very dangerous and you have to give him props for doing it.
Nick Milligan Exactly! I was supposed to be there the next night after he blacked out the first time. They pushed the premier off a day because of that stunt going wrong. What Spencer does is as real as it gets

Still there was real danger, just the fact alone that he was submerged in water. Other acts like this don't have any danger from the start and just acts as if there is.

@@BatmanAndWolverine based I wouldnt say he was more talented. They both have talent in different areas of what they do. I think the biggest problem is if you were to compare a comedian to a magician and people want something funny then the comedian is gonna win. If you have people looking for something dangerous or life-threatening then Spencer should have won. Do I think the comedian who won the spot was funny yes I certainly laughed and thought he has talent and was brave. As I said before one man risked his actual life and the other guy got up on stage and said some funny things based on the moment and making fun of his disability which is still brave but not life-threatening. Both talents take skill but I think they are being judged both off of the wrong thing. I would have been able to say it would be more fair if they had the magicians and escape artists together and vote based on that. Singers with the singers and comedians with the comedians.
OhMikeCreezy I don’t think they’re gonna do that because the audience likes variety. And might not be enough comedians to fill one show, but might be enough singers. But I understand your point, and it would be more fair. I’m usually not a fan of escape artists because they obviously draw it on for more suspense and it take the suspense out of it for me. Like how he kept touching the rope over and over but pretending not to find it, and throwing it off the box.
