I believe it is a black bullhead catfish. They are aggressive. Kept 1 with a bunch of huge creek chubs bigger than it and he killed every last one of them

The White Sucker fish and Gambusia are the last of my 'native" fish. I've had loads of them over the years.

Lol, his appetite seems to be almost competing with the striped Raphaels appetite. I hope that it's a madtom catfish that would look really cool in one of your main tanks.

I got three of the same from a lake in southeast PA. Thought they were Madtoms but studying the fins, I’m pretty certain they are young bullhead catfish. And they eat like crazy.

There's 2 that are native, but there could be some invasives too. I'm not sure.

    Splendid I love catfish.
I recently bought a hoplo catfish. Was the only one left in the shop .. about 3/4 of an inch long. A couldn't put in my cichlid tank because it would have got gobbled up. So I stuck it in one of the Endlers tanks to hopefully grow out.

Hey Dan ! You still got your cuckoo catfish? We talked a while back. I went and got 5 more and 6 hillstream loaches. They are in quarantine now. Doing great. Feeding them in the darkness and a crushed community blend I made.
