Mori wrote this with Dave, I believe durning the pandemic. This was to let her father know she still loves him even through their relationship had been fractured a few years earlier. As of today I don't know if her relationship with her father is still unresolved. Her father didn't attend Mori's wedding and would not allow her brother or mother to attend. This version is very heartfelt! The official video version was beautifully filmed by the ocean, the wish bus version didn't have the warmth and her live performances of this song were beautiful and powerful but not quite like the sunset version! IMO
