That song is the only PILIPINO (OPM) that entered on BILLBOARD CHART's TOP10 and took the No.4 spot! in 2020. That song has a very deep strong attachment to MORISSETTE She produced that nust to convey the message to her Father who for a year they had unsettled differences! and its because of LOVE!

She co-wrote this song with her Fiance Dave Lamar. It’s basically a direct message to her estranged dad. Dave did the cinematography as well. She sung it live on NYE but it didn’t sound like the video. She sang a lot before singing it so she kind of sounded tired. I’m looking forward to her 2nd live attempt 🙏🏾
She done it live last week, a little back story to the song, it was a message to her father, who hasn't spoken to her for over a year now, despite trying to reach out to him, she co-wrote and co-produced with her boyfriend Dave Lamar, Dave Lamar also done the cinematography, she's also just done a 48min video of how it was all processed.
Radio stations have to play it so everyone gets to fall in love with her vocal abilities.
Mori’s VOCALS, ACTING, LYRICS, MELODY = PERFECTION! This is PAINFUL AND BEAUTIFUL at the same time. I am sooo addicted to it.
Danielle Mori just started her YT channel last year and she doesn't have much subs for such a public figure, this song views is low from her channel, however if you add all of the number of views from all of the reactors who have done this video it should be closed to 1 million view, still a low count. However I really believe she will make a breakthrough globally this year as she and Dave and her management has a clear vision of the journey that is needed to be executed. In one of her interviews Mori acknowledged that with this pandemic occurring it really forced her to refocus in the rebranding and path that she didn't even know she needed to do. So please keep reacting to Mowie and you would have played a big part in her global explosion that is yet to come 🥰🙏🏽
I heard she wrote it for her estranged dad, so now I see a lot of symbolism throughout the song. Outstanding songwriting! 🌺

Morissette cowrote this with her Fiancé Dave Lamar who also is the Cinematographer and does video production on all her cover videos and her vlogs on her channel. Morissette produced it also with Dave and Jason Max. She just released a commentary video on her channel with both if them talking about the vision, design and concepts of the project. She has shifted to a new sound intentionalky and has been working witb Xergio Ramos on music production. He is featured as the guitarist on her new Demi Lovato cover.

I can't say it enough her tone is incredible! Listen, you can use all the melisma and vocal tricks on planet Earth but at the end of the day if the tone isn't there you got a problem, Mori has no problems in that area she packs quite the punch! FYI, if I'm not mistaken her fiancé Dave Lamar co-wrote this song with her...I think it's exceptional and I hope it gets the coverage it deserves! 🔥👊🏻🔥

This song is dedicated to her father whom she hasn’t spoken to for over a year. She tried and
tried to communicate but still received no answer. The reason of the misunderstanding between
two is because of her choice to be independent. As a father, it would be a very hard to have
your daughter away from you. And maybe also because of his relationship with Dave
(the one who worked the cinematography). As you can see on the MV, there were parts that
she’s not wearing the shawl every time she shows emotions and that symbolizes as her being
away from her father. Despite of her choices in life, she still loves her father.
“I still love you🎶” (wearing the shawl again).
PS. The shawl represents as her father by the way....Also Morissette and Dave Lamar (fiance)

Kidding. Hi Danielle. So happy you're back. She's definitely re-branding herself and she's definitely exploring or showing more of her gorgeous lower register. In fact, this song reached #7 on Billboard's Next Big Sound back in Dec. And if you haven't read in the comments already, this song is about her estranged relationship with her family specifically her Dad. Still not on speaking terms apparently. She also has recently been engaged to Dave Lamar who is her partner in crime. They write songs together all the time and he also does a lot of her videos, including this one. They really only had 9-11 ppl that did everything, and that includes the 2 scuba divers for the water shots. High budget look, for a low budget reality.

When I first heard this song, it really brought me to tears. And then, ir hurts even more when she mentioned that this song is about her Dad. Honestly, I can relate to her. I have a father that I never met in my entire life for like 23 years. Last year, I thought I had the chance to meet him but all my expectations almost killed me that time. He did not acknowledged me as his own son, and he was even like questioning my existence. That really tore me apart to be honest. 😢
Nevertheless, I still long for him. I still love him. I just hope that I can make a cover of this song. This is not just a song for me, but more like some lyrics that can definitely explain what I feel.
