Seeing them going from "How can anyone like the Lannisters????" to "Fuck yeah Jamie is sick, fuck yeah Tywin has so much aura, fuck yeah Tyrion is so smart" is so funny. Shows how good this story is good.
First off, I don’t rly consider Tyrion a “Lannister” he’s actually a good guy🤣. I can also pray on someone’s downfall (Tywin) but still think he’s him.

I really enjoy the Jaime/Brienne dynamic. Like even if you don’t ship it the quotes when he goes back to her are great:
“I’LL pay her bloody ransom. Gold, sapphires, whatever you want. Pull her out of there.” “You want her? Go get her.” So he did.
“We’re taking the wench.” “Her name is Brienne,” Jaime said. “Brienne, the maid of Tarth. You ARE still maiden, I hope?” Her broad homely face turned red. “Yes.” “Oh good,” Jaime said. “I only rescue maidens.”
“I am grateful, but… you were well away. Why come back?” A dozen quips came to mind, each crueler than the one before, but Jaime only shrugged. “I dreamed of you.”

They SIZZE with chemistry, as characters in general… too many good exchanges, they’re just amazing 😩 Nikolaj and Gwen have great banter and friendship even outside of their roles
That "I dreamed of you" is one of my favourites lines from the entire book series. The whole scene leading up to it and everything is just chef's kiss.

How Jon and the Wildlings get down is they descended from Greyguard, which has stairs stuck to the Wall. It's also abandoned so they had no resistance from the Night's Watch, which was the plan.

They’ve already seen 3x9 so it should be pointed out that Bolton’s betrayal is foreshadowed. It makes no sense that he would just send Jaime back to Tywin if he’s really loyal to Robb.

The rest have NOT seen the show (but have seen HotD) and sort of joked around and “hated” on it (GoT) and all it’s grandiosity, like just sort of made fun of it/played around. They obviously don’t hate it now! Haha ☺️

Nah, I do too. She has some good one liners, but overall she's very annoying and incredibly pushy. Other "Wildling" women like Osha, Meera, and Gilly are able to show off differing strengths of women beyond the wall without forcing it down your throat like a pill.

With just wildling infantry and some of those tall boys it would still be quite the challenge to actually take that army down south and control a siege on the capital. It's possible you could surround the city on land, but you can't control the waters, supplies will inevitably keep the city going and other regions armies will eventually come to relieve the city and stage attacks on an encamped army. The north would be possible for the wildling army to take and hold until the capital forms an army to reclaim the kingdom but not the capital.
Either way, Jon's right, even with such large numbers. They're united now by one goal, once new lands free to just relax in and threat of white walkers removed, how many of the tribes who hate each other would continue to stand beside each other and not just break away into their own groups again and slowly fall. Their tribalism is their weak spot and Ygritte only knows stories from the last three generations and even then, they'd be changed over time and remembering differently while Jon knows each king who attempted to solve the tribalism problem of the Wildlings and that they all fail because of the same thing, the wildlings have trust issues, even amongst themselves.
Because sesson 3 and 4 are based on the third book mostly, they had to do a big filler episode and this was it. Its definitely considered the "worst" episode in the show, minus some in the final 2 seasons.
