Thank you for making a complete video! Every other video I saw today starts with the panels off, assuming we all know which ones to take off and how to do it.
Thanks for letting people know that their is a neutral. I found out accidentally. The dealership don't tell Ryker owners that there is a neutral gear or lack there of.
take your Jackie handle off put a towel around it put it in a vice and flex it outward a little bit so you will have more ease of passing by speaker and then also switch out to jockey handle knob to A cylindrical type knob and you have more room and you'll be able to tighten it up all the way
Yah totally agree. U can put some heat in it too. To make it bend even easier... also I think if u do a double bend. Bend it right next to the plastic and then it straight back up maybe 6 ins above the first bend. If u throw it in a vice. Make sure to put a towel around the bar so u don't put any nasty marks in it
I'm not sure how long the jockey stick is from it's mounting point on the bottom. Buy a piece of clear vinyl tubing just a little bit bigger in diameter than the jockey stick, about 3 ft to make sure you have enough. Slide the tubing over the jockey stick so that it's about 2 to 3 inches above the side panel. Take another piece and slice it down the middle and slide it over the edge of your panel, you may have to glue it on to make it stay in place. The piece of vinyl tubing on the jockey stick will rub against the piece vinyl on the side panel. I don't have a Ryker but I will be buying a Spyder in November.
It would be so much easier if the Ryker came with a reverse push button like the Spyder, for the amount of money you pay for a Ryker that’s the least they can do, just sayin. Ty for the video it’s very helpful 👍
Try taking it to a machine shop or welding shop and get the bar with the ball on it slightly bent so it clear both speaker and fender. Your looking at an inch or so bend. Just an idea.
find a custom metal shop to make some extra bends to make it work you might need to repaint it. Or they can replace something that would be more ergonomic. I am not familiar with this machine and don't know how it operates. but i would make something custom for control arm. and use the other components to install per spec. Nice Machine Sir, sick color way.
I thought about getting a Ryker when they first came out. I am 6'2 and not sure how comfortable I would be on one. Do you think that is too tall for one? I also like in Atl and I have yet to see any that are custom like yours. They are so nice and got me back to wanting one.
I think it looks way better with the jockey handle than stock. I need one! Also like some others mentioned, put alittle bend in the shaft to clear the speaker and possibly a different handled, not the round ball. Should be good to go bro
Good video dude , your bike is nice man. Hey you can take off the rod and take it to a machine shop and have them make you a new one with the bend extended longer to clear the speaker. shouldn't cost too much . GD luck.
You should get a dremel drill and bit and shave it down and then get 600 grit and paper to sand it down super smooth on the inside of the cover and you will maintain your paint and have the clearance for it to be out more how you like and tighten it up.
Take the whole bike to a tool maker. like a welding shop .ask if you can have the same system made using steel rod, That can be custom bent for your need, Good luck. sweet bike.
I was wondering how long it would be before you posted a video on this mod. I was on the fence about ordering one, but when I compared the one on Slingmods for $200 verse this for $150, well that pretty much made up my mind. Just ordered the T-Rex. Thanks.
I haven't heard thay exhaust in person so I can't speak on how it sounds but here is a link to the exhaust I have and you can also receive a discount if you use my code which BYRONARNOLD www.silberturbos.com/products/can-am-ryker-muffler
@@ByronArnoldATL press down and back. I say down and back like you’re scraping mud off your shoe. And of course you just push it forward to go forward. Easy peasy.
Aye brody.. How tall are you? You about my size I think im 5'10 . I just wanna know cuz im looking to buy a can am but im thinking the ryker look too small.. help me out broly 🤷🏽♂️
I love the paint job, the jockey is shifter is OK, but I put an extension on the lever to pull it back and my foot to push forward at 5'3" i didn't really find it much of an issue. I read about neutral in the owners manual.
I love your professionalism in your videos. Great video. And your paint job on the bikes is awesome
That green color is freaking awesome.
Great trick to avoid removing the whole front clip!
wow i love that green on your ryker. super nice

My dealer told me there wasn’t one at all when I asked how to find it. Good thing I can do some research
thanks for tuning in
Man your bike has come along way since I last seen it.👍👍👍
I have been watching you for a grip my man and like the videos
That Green is sweeeeeeet❣️
Great video with explained details.
Thanks for the video. Only one actually showing how to get that side panel off.
Thank you! You helped me install mine!
Like it very smooth step by step. Great Trainer so keep it up Thanks
Great job King
I love the color of your bike, sweet.
Probably gonna have my ryker within the next week or 2. That joint gonna be my first purchase. Nice video bro!

I just want to say thanks for the 92 bucks off my silber power package.
When I want to add a mod to my Ryker Rally Edition I look at your videos, great vidoes.
those tires are bad ass man
Bike looks like a few accents has been added. You finally put your bag on. It doesn’t look any less.
I had to get a new fender, the new fender is in the paint shop now, i meesed up the other by hitting a dead animal in the street
@@ByronArnoldATL oh yeah, lol Ki Ki.
That's one cool trike. Ride safe.
Great video and you explain in detail your rationale for adding the Jockey shifter to your 3-wheeled mystery machine...I want one. Thank you.
Great video and look forward it getting mine and modding it
Finally you back🔥🔥
Cool! I wish to have ryker
Nice vid, appreciate the step by step! Perhaps you could file/grind down that small area of ur fender to allow none contact of fender and gear stick.

Awesome video! Thanks! After having this shifter on for a long time, do you still like it? Did it hold up well?

great idea
I'm so glad you showed your speaker problem. What size speakers are those?
Good look B!
Thanks
Take the top 8 in of the bar and put it in a vice bend it out to clear the speaker I'm Patrick from Edmonton Alberta 🇨🇦
Easy fix, go to a metal fabricator and have them make a shifter. Also, it sounds like a lawn mower so you should cut the grass while you are on it
Bravo

Another great video! I'm definitely leaning toward this and the Silber Turbo Exhaust!

@@ByronArnoldATL, I got you. Love your videos. You Lowkey inspired me to start my page and put a few videos out there.

Take a map torch n heat it n bend it a little bit
cut three inches off then re-tap the treads or leave the threads and then re-weld it back together

RLS makes GREAT exhaust fam.....
Two brothers exhaust from Slingmods is wayyyy too loud unless you like the nascar sounds
Do you have a video of the kn air filter
I hookup my battery backwards.. now no power period.. my fuses was good.. did I just kill my bike
Hey brother did your tire come with the lettering on them? Nice bike by the way
No. It does not usually.
Can you rev the bike in the " neutral " position?
I just sit on mine n push it n pull it with my feet does that hurt the bike at all,?
Maybe you can bend the jocky handle out enough to clear the speaker.
Put some type of padding on it to rub
If you work the stock lever like the manual says, you won’t need that.
So what exactly do the manula say ?
@@ByronArnoldATL press down and back. I say down and back like you’re scraping mud off your shoe. And of course you just push it forward to go forward. Easy peasy.
Why don't you put a plastic or rubber object between the shifter and your finder. At lease you won't be rubbing the paint off your finder.
Great Idea

you should been the shifter toward. you won't have to reach so far forward to put it in forward.
Hot Bike! Is that paint or wrap?.. if wrap where can I buy it
I was wondering about that. So there is a neutral 👍🏾
yea it is
Hey
What’s the top speed on these?

My hand works just fine. But thanks.
I have a similar setup it seems but my jockey is closer to me so I don’t have to lean forward to adjust.
you may have a longer adjusting rod
You probably fixed it already i would bend the shifter and give it a different look and then you wouldn’t have to rub your fender
B.A. whtz poppn fam???
whats going on?

A whole lotta 3wheel shit....
🤣🤣💯
You can make your own cheaper
bend that bottom L in the bar that rub and u Caan put it I. there and avoid all ur problem
great video, but it is an eye sore
Get a trammel and trim that area out.
