This applies obviously to any moving 100 watt RGBWWUV 6. in 1 moving head.
Did you test it by wattmeter in 220v?
What is real power consumer for each color?
You can use the moving breads in 3D view. If you go into the patch and the. Click on one of the fixtures and click the pencil(edit). Once your in the edit window on the far right of the window you will see not in 3D view selected click the drop down and choose moving wash. Let me know if this helped.

You can program them to work with Show Xpress 3D view. I'm currently using 8 units similar to this that is only RGBW, but I was able to program it to work with 3D view.

Hey DJ Rick Webb, What's your opinion on the Colorband Pix-m?? I'm think about getting the pair for my truss and then get 2 wash fx moving heads for my speakers
+Efren Collazo Jr. Never seen them in use before. They look pretty cool. And bar fixture adds another great lighting element to any setup.
Have you tried rigging these lights sideways? Do these inexpensive units still work in this configuration? Or can the pan motor only cope with being mounted 'up or down' ?
I have mounted them sideways they didnt have a problem

how did you set them up to left and right? When i use 2 of them, they're doing exactly them same move: both go to the right or both are going to the left.
is there a setting to mirror the moves of them?
On one of them go to pan and tilt. Invert both of them

Im following you now , Have you done a recent vid on like best and loudest speakers? Im looking at JBL's , I like nothing but the best money is no object, not sure what to buy as far as quality, true amp ratings, etc. I have Mackie thump 15's and 2 peavey PR 15's I want to get away from having to take all 4 speakers to gigs I want 2 speakers that I can rely on and will get the job done and then some meaning 2 big is better than just good enough in my book. Keep up the vids thank you.

Hey dj rick, i have a request for you. I own a spriak led rgb disco ball party light. I am a musician, and a wannabe music producer. I do plan on using it in future videos, and i would like for you to do a video about using these lights for people who are not djs.
Do you know if they are able to be controlled with a remote control instead of dmx controller

I'm concerned about fan noise since I would be installing them in a small theater. Are they fan cooled? Any motor noise?
+kootenayguy32 yes fan cooled. No noise from that. But if you mount them sideways. The motor does squeak, but it also says to not do that in the manual

What's the difference between these and other wash lights that are the exact same looking with a different brand name?

Well these come from a distributor in America. Which means they have been through quality control to ensure the led diodes work perfectly. As well you get the added benefit of customer support based in America vs all other cheap Chinese based fixtures. These are the same technically but the fixture has a company backing which you will not find with ones from China

Hey Rick. Love the light. The vender’s site comes up as not secure. I was hesitant in purchasing. Did you have any issues with that yourself?
No issues I actually called and talked with them prior to buying. Great customer service and great to work with.

+Christian Weber you need a dmx donnmgle of some sort along with the dmx software for the computer. I recommend show express free software. But the dongles start at $100 to $500.

DJ Rick Web I have found the solena brand pssl sold stuff is the same stuff that is sold via Amazon for half the price baught both and compared the two I was surprised I do like these though since they are made where I live never knew that fact

Lasers don't provide a wash effect lasers are dangerous when directly pointed to eyes lasers can blind you in seconds you can stare into a led fixture and be completely fine I know cause I do when I'm bored I just switch all my lights on and have a one man rave in my apartment 😂
