Also do 4 Both Lighting Tubes give a lot of light coverage on a good size dance floor. I am looking into them for bar and Wedding gigs. Not sure how many I would need. You Rock!!!

This is Why Every DJ that has a Fog/Haze Machine to Check for smoke detector or other device that sets off the Fire Alarm. Even if there are no Smoke detectors or a Fire Alarm System in the building, I get complaints that it is gonna set the Fire Alarm off but I have to explain that there are no detectors anywhere. I talk to someone that own the place if they have any Device such as a Smoke Detector or Fire Alarm System just to make sure it won't set off the Fire Alarm because there may be detectors in the ducts or above the Drop Ceiling

They blow u away with bass bins in pubs. Small areas. Not good at all trying to be band. Blows u away. No clear sound. Cant hear what they singing

I think you're talking as a layman, you can, knowing how to get the best out of let's say, the 518 that you said sucked? That speaker can perform. Albeit that the JBL and the quality of their builds have really disappointed a lot of people especially the amplifiers , A JBL 518 is a mid quality not a low quality. I can make a Harbinger sound good. And a lot of people think those are junk. I can get it to do what lets say a " Mackie can do.

Are the batteires 12V? I have 2 sp15x Proreck subs. I run them for hours at high volume and the amps are cold. Maybe my "high volume" is not high enough but you can feel it in the floor 20ft away where the dancing happens. I'm happy with my beginner stuff. $315 each on sale, worth every penny.
