One thing makes me concern is the color of the poster is very colorful, so I don't know if it will be an iPad event, and I kind of feel like apple would like to skip as much as M3, or say N3B product from TSMC, maybe that's the reason we see so many M4 rumors. So if we only see mini led iPad Air, and skip iPad directly to m4, I wouldn't be too surprised. Another thing is all the color sheet in the invitation is folding and movable, I personally think interpreting that as foldable device will be too much, but let's see.
There's going to be no promotion. I know it sucks but the sales proved that 60hz is usable and Apple won't destroy the boundaries between the normal and the pro just to give their customers better experience for free.
Predictions: M3 ipad pros, ipad pro accessories if they actually exist (we haven’t seen any physical leaks, just patents). M2 iPad Air refresh, a17 pro chips for the mini and base iPad if they also get refreshed. Wild card: m3 mac mini refresh, could be a site drop rather than any onscreen time.
If promotion did come to the air and mini series, it would cannibalize sales for the pro. What I’d like to see is a keyboard for the iPad mini. What I think will happen is the new airs won’t be able to use the new aluminum Magic Keyboard.

The bigger feature upgrade the iPads NEED is for 128gb to be standard like the iPhones. If the new iPad Air and Mini don’t come with 128gb of storage I will be buying a used mini 6 with 256. Just as it’s unacceptable for Macs to still only have 8 gigs standard, 64 gigs just isn’t acceptable. And they proved it by updating all the iPhone models to have 128gb.
The Hardware is overkill in price and specs without corresponding software upgrades. All the current iPads eg 9th Gen does almost everything most users will use their iPads for with exception of artists and some other creatives or premium goods end of the market where money is not even an issue.
These are scheduled for press people / developers whose day job is basically paying attention to Apple. Most consumers don’t watch it live anyways they watch reviews or ads/replays after
i have a number of updates i want to do, first and foremost my mac, i need Apple to update the Mac Studio at WWDC so i can finally place my order and get back to work second, i really want to switch my iPad - i think i have a fourth gen iPad air, the old design 🤷🏻♂️ - and i really want to switch over to a mini (in purple) i think it would enable me to use it more than just glorified youtube/netflix screen but it’s not so urgent that i’d love to see it be upgraded to have an M-chip, even an M1 would be so overkill it’d prolong it’s life so much then, my airpods - i love my gen 3s, but i really want the airpod max’s, for travel, editing, and entertainment but i cannot justify £500 on something with three major flaws, so once these are updated with, hopefully 🤞 USB-C, and a power button / no case required

I agree. An OLED screen with an always-on display and ProMotion is perfect for the iPad mini. Hopefully MagSafe is added to the back as well. That way, the iPad mini can be docked on a speaker on a nightstand and be in AOD mode at 1 Hz only showing the clock at a dim setting.
My guess, it’s an upper mid tier announcement. Too big for a refresh, too small for an event. They even put it right bright and early, as if to say “watch this to start your day” for everyone to start their day with when they got to it. Am I gonna wake up that early? Hell no. But I’ll watch it while I eat since I can’t watch at work ordinarily so I’d have to wait out the rest of my day to watch it and at that point I’d rather just watch a recap.
