  • Welcome back adventurers! Today's hike is again in Shenandoah National Park in my home state of Virginia on a trail called Calf Mountain. The main feature of this hike is the open field with great views at the top. The trail up to the top of Calf Mountain is pretty normal and relaxing. It's worth checking out if you're up for a quick hike to some great views. Check it out!

I really wanted to explore a big Meadows when we were there because of it being so open! Sometimes it's just nice for a change of scenery!
Always cool spotting different landmarks you recognize from past hikes off in the distance!

Try Cole Mountain next time you're up in the area again, the change of scenery as you hike is incredible! Im trying to get that one done HOPEFULLY this month.

@@The_Ginge I wish I lived next to a national park! Closest one for us is the smokies and it's a little over 4 hours away.

@@The_Ginge No I haven't biked this trail before. I think I would from the looks of it though. I'm in search of some new trails and came across your channel.

@@venturelyfe I plan to add that type of content to the channel in the future and already have a few places lined up to try out when I do. First on my list is Ragged Mountain Natural area trail. Roughly 6.5 to 7 mile loop in Charlottesville. Looks beautiful!
