Sight Fishing in the HOT Louisiana Marsh

Despite searing Louisiana heat, conditions were perfect for sight fishing within the grass flats with @capt.wiltoid_finfluencer ( capt.wiltoi...) Look him up on IG to book a charter! Nearly every bend yielded fish. Hope you enjoy the footage.

Noticed you use hi-vis line. Do you also use a leader? Or, are the fish not shy about the hi-vis line?

As long as you have a nice sized (24”+) fluorocarbon leader on there you should be fine. I was trying to avoid using hi-vis but that was the only braid available when I bought that SLX DC reel (which I highly recommended). I find it better than the more expensive Curado DC.
