There is no better than my buddy AJ catching speckled trout! Thank you my Friend for giving us the pleasure of watching you wear the trout out! Thank you my Friend !
The good thing about all those small ones is that they will be legal in 4-6 weeks… if you can stand the heat😅. Yes sir, those Bimini tops can be worth their weight in gold.
That new Dark Avacado with a white tail appears to work. Hope it can attract some larger trout too! Great weather day on the water! But y’all were catching, just too short!! Good video
Looks like this is time of year the new regs. Will affect our catch the most. We caught 38 trout w only 2 keepers yesterday. Trip cut short because of weather, but difficulty in finding keepers. We tried several spots but same results in all. The water y’all fishing looked pretty stained. If Delacroix there is better water but the results are no different. Thinking the bigger fish have moved out early. Nice activity!
I was hoping if we got away from the full moon and the water cleared up it might have been better. But it sounds about like our trip I would say we caught 100 or more throwbacks to keep 6 truly legal ones. We’re going to try something new next. Thanks for your input Rudy
Hey bud its been awhile since we’ve spoke , hope u have been doing ok! Just been going on with the Dr.‘s and the whole SKIN cancer thing and dealing with my Mom next door …. FUN STUFF MY FRIEND! Glad to see ur getting some fishin’ In though, remember give me a call if u need a hand on the house renovation bud!
Thanks Art sorry you’re going through the same with your mom. I’m just not as mad at them fish in the summer work all day in the heat then go fish in this crap. I’ll take the a/c 😂
Jay any help please I bought a bunch of the baits I tried every color iam in Texas iam having to use them under a cork where Iam fishing because of rocks any pointers please on retrieve my boats down right now so stuck fishing sum places normal wouldn't use a cork but have you had to use one and if so do you let it do it's thing or do you slow reel it and pop every little bit ? Thanks for any help
I’m not going to lie and tell you they’re great under a cork. If I’m fishing a cork I’d rather use a shrimp type lure. Take the chance and throw a 1/4 oz in the deep away from the rocks and hop it in. That’s how we fish the dam down in Hopedale but you will lose some tackle
David, these are great baits under a cork. Just had some great trips in the last four or five weeks (when the wind machine wasn't cranked up) using them under a cork. The pearl, u/v flash, shrimp and moonshine were the go to colors, speaking of which I need to get more ordered to replace the several packs I went through. Try using different weight jigheads, 1/16 and 1/8 oz are my my favorite weights but sometimes a 1/4 works if they want it falling faster. Also, try varying your leader length. In the warmer months I'll start with as long as 5' leader to get further down in the water column then work my way up from there. Hope this helps you out.
I haven’t been fishing in a while. I’m just not as mad at them in the summer. I work out in the heat and just don’t have the want to go lately. I might go one day this week to Delacroix and see what I can find.

Summer time trout inside are here already . That water looked pretty dirty. Great day to try new lure. It had to be hot out there.
Cool fishing man!!
Bought me one for my boat last year , you never know when you might have to use it waiting for a tow
