The ending shot though......wow. The sunset was gorgeous
It was. And I didn't edit anything.
Where was the end? Llano River?
Beautiful . The water crossings took me back to when I was a boy growing up in the Ozarks. Thank you !
Awesome. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Laid back and awesome. That was a nice little trip.
I couldn't upload it all as one video. Working on day two.
Another great vid, thanks!
Thank you sir
Thank,s for plain true video,s. Since watching you I started looking for Hummer H3,s and there is a few but Adventures are very scares over here in South Africa, found a black 2010 Adventure(only one advertised ) with 49000 km(+-30000 miles), pity its got 20" mags on for R289 000($16 000+-) which I consider a big bargain though no back up for spares. Your way of going out and camp with a line or two in the water suites my way of going out 100% with a 4x4 of course. Have a great time. Best!
Did you buy it?
Gooooo hummer 👏🏾😎🇺🇸👏🏾
Just a silly question on this. I want to get into Overlanding but I may have the wrong vehicle as there is little to no support for my vehicle on this as other than don't do it. I have a crossover SUV with AWD and the ground clearance is about 7 inches. Would that be sufficient enough to take on this trail?
That would mostly depend upon the depth of the water crossings. There are several. If the crossings are low and you drive carefully in a few short spots, you'll have no trouble and enjoy the drive.
Where did you camp on day one? I am doing this trail next month with the family. I thought you couldnt camp on the trail?
HipCamp. But check out Oxford Ranch. Great place.
Info on the camp? Looks like public land but I'm not sure of any public land along the route to camp at like that.
She has pulled her site from hipcamp so I don't post the listing. We camped at Aattheranch.com.
@@DirtwalkerOutdoors Ahh ok, that's one of the places I haven't stayed at.
Everything else was booked or closed so I found the site on hipcamp. I liked the location, but my dad wasn't impressed.
@@DirtwalkerOutdoors Oxford Ranch on TX16 is my favorite camp ground on the East side of the route, if you're wanting to stay near Mason check out Lindsay Ranch, she has a couple of primitive spots designated for camping but also allows you to just drive anywhere on her property (300 Acres I believe) and find a spot to camp.
That's good information. I knew of Oxford ranch but not the other. I prefer sites where I can choose my own site and get away from other campers, so I think I'll check that out.
Hello sir, could you please provide me with the exact dropped pin address of the trail head on google maps? I tried following the directions of your previous messages and on the website link you provided but I am not able to locate your starting point. Thank you

I was worried I wouldn't be able to make it in my vehicle but then I seen the H3 and realized my Accord will be fine lol

Haha. It's a joke, but I've seen people do it!
