Offroading Black Gap Trail at Big Bend National Park and Gazelle Tent Camping

Here is another weekend trip to the glorious Big Bend National Park and a ride on Black Gap Trail, a Jeep Badge of Honor Trail. This time, we drove past the infamous "step" and turned around in order to make it back to camp at Glenn Springs 1 campsite before dark. Big Bend National Park has numerous roads and trails to enjoy in a four wheel drive, high clearance vehicle such as this 2013 Jeep Wrangler JK and we drove Black Gap Trail, Glenn Springs Road, River Road West, and Old Ore Road on this particular trip. Campsites on these backcountry roads can no longer be reserved online due to too many drivers needing rescue because they did not follow the rule that these are four wheel drive, high clearance roads only. I just had to add that. All in all, a great time again. The views always astound and I hope you enjoy more of Big Bend National Park. And hey, we love the Gazelle T4 Overland tent!
