- Last video of 2022. It was a little delayed but I was finally able to finish this video I recorded back in July when I was in Oregon.
Now that we are in the winter season, editing this video made me miss those long summer days.
This year has been one for the books. Hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it. Happy new year everyone! May the new year bring more adventures and wonderful memories :)
Here is the recipe for the dinner I made:
1 lb. of skinless chicken breast
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
salt and pepper
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves of garlic
1 cup dry orzo pasta
1/3 cup dry white wine
1 cup heavy cream
1/3 grated parmesan cheese
2 cups baby spinach
1/2 sun-dried tomatoes (oil drained)
juice of 1 lemon
fresh rosemary for garnish and serving

Disclaimer: I will never share my locations on CZcams or any other public platform while camping in beautiful places. The reason is because broadcasting my location can attract more people to the area, potentially leading to overuse and negative impacts on the environment. Sharing geolocation can lead to a surge in visitors seeking the same picturesque spots and over time, this can degrade the natural beauty that initially attracted you and others to the location. Remember to explore responsibly, respect local regulations , cultural sensitivities and leave it better than you found it.

An evening of culinary delight under the watchful gaze of a Mt. Hood - a symphony of flavors and a breathtaking view that words can hardly capture. Join me as I cooke up a storm and set up camp in this picturesque haven. Let's relish the magic of the moment together! 🌄🍳🏕
There's just something about the 4runner and overland culture that has a soothing and healing nature to it. That combined with the aesthetic videography and lo-fi, it makes me look forward to my personal 4runner build and my adventures to come. Hope to see more of your content down the line.
Get a GX 460. You’ll be much happier.
@@xploration1437lol why? It all comes down to what the person likes. What THEY. Are willing to spend. What makes them happy.
@@tateshelton4744 more power, more capable, better ride. I don’t really care, I’m just saying the GX is a better vehicle overall. In other countries it’s called a Land Cruiser Prado.
@@xploration1437 The 4runner is also a prado lol.
I like the GX personally, I just like the 4runner more but yeah it's a much better street vehicle which will suit people better,
@@pumpkin1escobar the 4 runner is not a Prado.
I'm 7 mins in and I just want to say you are seriously underrated. This is so calming and everything about it is just great! You def deserve more attention for these!!
Appreciate that!
this is so beautifully done. mother nature deserves to be captured as beautifully as you have
The connection to nature in this video is palpable. Offroading and overlanding are true escapes to the wild!
Fascinating video. I camped in Oregon national forest last year and it was amazing. From Colorado here and we got tons of great places for disperse camping.
A brotha
You definitely have talent in the overlander culture. Your culinary skills are excellent and very sultry. Your video editing is perfect, checking out the build while the Orzo cooks down is genius. Great Job.
Greetings from a fellow overlander in San Luis Obispo CA.
Good build, campsite, food, chill music, and absolutely flawless videography! This is some seriously good work. Many thanks!
Thanks for checking out my video!
If you come to the east, look me up.
Wow! Oregon’s outdoor scenery is just fascinating, such amazing views… It’s fun and exciting to camp with 4R while exploring the nearby places and trails… 👍🏻
This is why I receive my 4Runner Wednesday. Can't wait to spend time in the outdoors
great video! great camp spot and great 4runner set up. simple but with style
You have a very nice 4 runner. I see a lot camping videos and a lot of these guys also have Toyotas. I also own one and am a huge Toyota guy myself. When your in the middle of nowhere the last thing you want is to be stranded but you can always count on Yotas to take you home.
Great video Francis! Wish I could be out there with you.. awesome beautiful views! Takes me back when my Dad and I would go to the High Sierra’s in California!! Nothing like being outdoors! Keep rolling my friend! FYI… just put my deposit on my 4Runner TRD PRO ICE CAP… get rig you have there…
That opening scene with the mountain backdrop is breathtakingly beautiful.
And I can’t imagine the amount of work shooting those scenes alone, plus the editing.
Big beautiful country there, enjoy!
One of the things i miss about Oregon are the views and the beautiful natural environment of the area. Great video man!👍
Nice video chef Ramsey 😊. I miss my home. The most beautiful place on earth. Well done video of the mount Hood forest
first couple minutes were so beautiful I started tearing up. wow.
I subscribed the moment you videoed the wild flowers. I'm one who appreciates nature. Thanks for showing the same appreciation.
Glad you enjoyed it. Will try to make some more videos for this summer. Keep on a look out ;)
One of the best videos I’ve seen, thank you for sharing.
so relaxing love it
This is beautiful. Need to get healthier and enjoy something like this.
I love this type of videos!
I came to see a tour of the 4Runner but got completely sidetracked on how bomb that chicken orzo was. Impeccable recipe and execution, cheers!
Just stumbled upon your channel. Your videos are super underrated! It’s a surprised you’re not getting more visibility. Love your work man
Awesome video. I got a 4Runner rigged with a tent. Makes me want to hit the road again. The call of the wild.
Damn! That dish looks so good. Can't wait to give it a shot even at home!
Amazing video. Great production
Certainly sets a vibe 😎
Thank you Sir 🫡
Love your content!! I think it’s so cool how you’re traveling and living out of your 4Runner.
I was wondering if you’ll do like a Q&A or something similar on what that life looks like (laundry, social life, etc) because i want to know if i could do that someday
I may consider making an info video about living on the road.
beautiful sunset...thanks for sharing
I know that spot quite well, Francis. It’s a good one. I grew up on this mountain, spent lots of my childhood there, and it’s a huge part of me. Dude, you absolutely crushed it on showing how beautiful it is in that intro. Well done, man. Makes me miss it.
What road is he on? I grew up in Mt. Hood also.
As someone who enjoys your content, I appreciate that, Nick!
Definitely the best 4runner camping video ever. The view was incredible the cinematography was amazing and the food looked delicious. Great video. Thank you
Thanks!
Lovely video!
Here a quick Observation: Aeropress... Put the plunger a few mil in and set it upside down :) No drips plus you are able to let the grounds steep a little bit; inkluding stirring. Then add the Lid with Filter... turn and press. I noticed a hugeeee difference in flavor.
Love your content. keep it coming!
Thanks for the video Francis, I find these simplistic videos very calming and inviting. You have a really nice rig, I hope to be investing in a similar setup within a year. Cheers from Sean, Vancouver, BC
I didn’t know this was a cooking channel 😄. That looked so delicious! 🙌🏽
I really enjoyed this video! The videography is well done, keep it up👍
this is so beautifully done
Thank you!
Very good vid!

Nice work, Totally remind me of Drew simms videos
i love living in rural nature areas, Oregon seems like my dream state to live in
amazing video
Definitely thinking of doing the same with my 4runner. Looking forward to seeing where you head off to next!
I love sound of a tent zipper.
Ahh, thanks for the beautiful Video, I need a reset - Hahaha! Miss being out there.
Just came here to appreciate how well produced this is for a one man show
Thank you!
My buddy and I used to do this same camping up in WA with the view of Rainier - Dark sky, all the bright stars were out, talking stories and drinking port until 3am. Man that was the best. I just recently moved down to Portland with my 4Runner and hoping to find the same kind of spots. This looks amazing my man!! Just found you and subscribed. You're videos are fun to watch, keep it up man!
Video was awesome. Thanks for the vibes🫡
Love the video man! Amazing spot. Feels like we're there with you!
First time here. Beautiful work on the video. I’m glad I stumbled across your page.
Well put together video, love all the beautiful seanery and your talent for cooking. Just got back from a five day solo trip with my 2016 4runner trail, there is no other vehicle I would want to do overlandding in. She is my daily driver and overland vehicle, really nice setup you have, be safe out there.
Type of quality that will make it
Beautiful video, man, love the vibes and the Toyota.
I took a photo with my wife in that exact same spot! We compared the trees to the ones in our photo. There was a dead tree standing when we were there!
Great video Francis. Thank you for sharing, I'm curious how you set up your drawers when you head out on a trip. Thank you.
My dogs and I enjoyed your video and your dinner looked amazing! Thank you for sharing
man i love the editing and content. good to see you at a spot even a lot of locals dont know about. hope to see you up in oregon again soon
Man I started drooling watching that chicken and orzo simmer. That's never happened before even watching cooking shows! 😆 Nice work 👍
Haha glad you enjoyed it as much as I did! :D
I’m sitting at a desk job hating everyday of it. Wish this could be my reality
Nice one…much appreciated and inspired by drew sims…love and peace
That dinner looked amazing ! Awesome video!
Nice! I'm a Tundra guy but it's all relative. Keep the videos 📹 comin 👍🏾
Dude, just stumbled on your channel. Killer intro. Gives 'Story til now' a run for their money. Great vid and awesome rig.
Wow that is a high compliment. I appreciate that.Keep a look out for more videos this summer :D
Hey, I'm glad I ran across your channel. This was super enjoyable.
Can you do a full video of your suv/camping set up, seems very practical, thank you
Working on it!
I hope you sent the sasquatch best regards
I stopped on your site because I wish to create the same setup in a 4 Runner. Great show! Cheers!
Just stumbled on your channel! Excellent video! Im in an f150 trying to decide on future investment jeep or 4runner. Im leaning towards the toyota. Keep up the awesome content man
Wow. Great visuals . All the best.
Nice drone shots
Really enjoyed watching this edit :) Reminded me of Drew Simms work. I definitely need to use my DSLR more in my edits.
Sweet!! What a view to go to bed with and wake up to at your campsite. Mount Hood looks magnificent & spectacular! No imperfections in Earth's Eden that I can see. Just Mother nature working in perfect harmony and peace as she always has since the beginning of creation.
Ah, and that dinner, buen provecho! I've never had, seen or knew about Orzo pasta. Definitely added to my list of new dinners to try. Always looking for new ways to add some new character and addition to plain ol' seasoned chicken breasts even though they are yummy.
And with that view! Amazing!
It was a special one. I feel fortunate to have had the experience
dinner looked gooood
That’s is dream spot, really relaxing vidéo congratulations from France 🇫🇷🏕
Cool!!!!
your 4 runner is so nice I've been in search for that color :')
Damn, the editing is crisp, and the shots were perfect.
From a fellow novice 4rrunner overlander, cheers!
Wow!!! Beautiful scenery, and delicious food. I just traded my camper van for a 4 Runner this week. I had, in the past, a Doctor here in Denver, who’s name is Francis Ngo. I am subscribed!!
Amazing
Beautifully done
Thank you! 🙏
Just came across your channel and this video in Oregon was amazing!!
Watch out for samsquanch.
Love the video so far. What cooking knives are those? I like that they fold
Love the Intro man! Awesome video! I gotta try and hunt that spot down next time i'm in Oregon!
Dude this intro was professional. Awesome job!
Some drew simms inspirations😊
very calming video
Awesome video 👌🏾👏🏽🏔️🏕️
great vids! Love the cinematic shots
Nice 4R, nice views
Nice video! Oregon’s so pretty. Definitely want to make my way out there sometime!
It sure is! I keep finding myself coming back there.
Absolutely love the video, intro was perfect! Question what trash carrier is that?!
@@joelburciaga3663 it is a “last us bag”
Wow! Glad I happened by. Everything was great. Can't wait until I can do the same. I love the roof-top tent apparatus! Do you also sleepinside the 4runner at times?
And just like that, I have now been inspired to start over landing now that I have brand 2023 4Runner ORP lmao
Nice!
Really nice video thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the video!!
Such awesome shots, man! Really looking forward to more content with the 4runner and your setup. 🤙How do you like the ultra swing? Is it worth it compared to a full-size rear bumper?
Thanks! More videos coming for 2023! To your question, I much prefer a tire swing as it doesn't require any cutting to the 4Runner's body and it fits my needs so at least for me, its worth it. Additionally, with the sidehack, you can mount just as much accessories as you can with a full-size rear bumper.
New to your channel, nice vibe. That meal looked fire and the drone views were great. Keep doing this good work...
Thanks you!
Stumbled upon your channel and immediately subbed. You're so close to 1,000 subs and I hope you get there soon! Looking forward to more great content on your channel!
Thanks! Yes, almost there. I just checked out our 6 excuses for having a youtube channel and I can relate. Also love the drone shots and music choices. Keep at it and I am sure you will get your 1,000 subs as well :D
Growing a CZcams channel is hard but its worth it. Regardless if I have 5 or 5million subscribers, I love to create content and tell stories through visuals and I can see that in your videos.
Thank you!
@@francisngo I completely agree. Creating videos for CZcams has been exhausting but highly fulfilling.
Epic intro shot love it👍👍
Very nice shots dude. You put a good thought into them. I can tell.
Yes a lot of thought was put into the shots. I enjoy creating a cinematic experience and happy to hear others like yourself appreciate it too. Hopefully, I will find my mojo and get back into it again for the summer.
