Situated high above Lake Thun, the St. Beatus Caves are one of Switzerland’s hidden gems. These caves have been formed over millions of years, creating a labyrinth of passages and chambers. Legend has it that Saint Beatus, a monk from Ireland, took refuge in these caves during the 6th century.
