Awesome video! I was just checking out my son's quad, and thought about trying to recover it.
After watching this, I'M READY!!! Thanks. Your finished job is beautiful.😊
I'm glad you found the video helpful! Good luck with the recovery!
Useful video, I’ve rebuilt a number of my Dirtbike seats and saved a lot of money. 2 tips. Having a needle down setting is very handy as you won’t lose your position and use a hot air gun when stretching the vinyl assists.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad the video was useful for you. It's always great to hear when viewers are able to save some money and learn new skills. Keep up the good work on your dirtbike seats! No need to use a heat gun on a 360 degree 4-way stretch seating vinyl like "Allsport" However, on other vinyls it can be helpful, just don't get it too hot.
Seat looks great! Did flooring for 50 years. Can relate.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It's always great to connect with someone who can relate to the work I do. Flooring for 50 years is quite an accomplishment!
The seat turned out really nice, thank you 👍😁
I'm so glad you liked how the seat turned out! Thank you for your kind words.
Great helpful video.Since i own one of yours walking foot machines i was able to repair so many things on my semi trucks.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad my video was able to help you with repairing your semi trucks. Keep on trucking and sewing with your Sailrite Sewing Machine!
Another great video. Your videos are a big reason I buy from Sailrite. I’m loving my new Christmas Ultrafeed zigzag.
Thank you so much for your support! I'm glad you're enjoying your new Ultrafeed LSZ Sewing Machine!
I love watching these videos, I’ve made a few of these projects before and they all came out pretty well. I wish I could justify the purchase of a sailrite sewing machine, but my home machine works alright for the most part…
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience! It's great to hear that your home machine is working well for you, if you need one that is more heavy duty you know where to get it "Sailrite Ultrafeed". Keep up the good work on your projects!
@@SailriteDIY some day! maybe I can find a used one
Great timing, I have been wanting to do this
That's awesome! I'm glad my video came at the right time for you. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help getting started!
...Excellent job...
Thank you so much! Your support means the world to me!
Great work.
Hey, thanks a ton! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Keep watching for more content!
How would you describe the heat absorption for the allsport?
The (seemingly cheap) synthetic leather on our seat gets very hot, very quickly in comparison to the original factory material. Any suggestions?
Sorry, I do not have any knowledge on that topic.
Great job. Wondering if you have to be careful about breathing in any of the foam as you shave it?
It is probably a good idea to wear a mask when shaving foam. However, I typically don't have an issue not using one, as it seems the foam particles are rather heavy and don't float around in the air much.
awesome,totally awesome
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!

Did you ever try the Susie Magnet trick for cutting seam allowance, Eric?
Even professionals use the tape. It helps us sew hot and fast. Mind your fingers. LOL
Yes, I did. It worked great, I just forgot about using it. Thanks for reminding me again!!!
@@SailriteDIY I've added it to my tips and tricks playlist. I do only canvas work.
Have you discovered using the Dewalt 10" End Nipper for snap removal? Works a treat.
Thanks for sharing. -EZ
Rookie question? What's the Susie Magnet Trick?
@@davido2047 Stick it to your scissors. An automatic seam allowance. I have a tips and tricks playlist of cool shortcuts I've been taught on my channel. This one I had to share with Eric because I've taken a few awesome tips from him. 👍
Do you make the left guide foot for the LSZ model? If not is there a compatable foot?
No, not yet. I have a 3D model printed for the LSZ but it did not yet work. No one is working on it as of now, since we are working on a brand new design for a hand press. We have a long way to go to make one work for the LSZ, but we started, please do not hold your breath as it could take a year or two.
Why don't profesionals use basting tape? Lol
