This is great, tha ks for the info! . I’m a die hard Southwest flyer but recently tried Frontier and Spirit and loved them both. I also use Hopper and United flights have been real cheap. I will be trying them next.

Life With Favor sadly yes he is furloughed. They have done it to THOUSANDS of their employees and it’s very sad and scary. It can last a year or more at times. At least when he DOES go back he doesn’t have to start over with seniority etc. Ugh....what a TIME huh? Sending you and the fam love! Grandma too!
Just stumbled on your video after searching up “basic economy United airlines.” Wasn’t sure what that meant vs. the “economy” tier. Now I have a clear picture of what to expect on upcoming trip (Atlanta-Newark). I however have one question... can we get to the gate early enough and request to change your seat to a window seat? I have flown with Spirit many times already and 8/10 it was a success outcome. But this may be my first flight with UA so I just want to make sure I could when I fly out... great and informative video btw!

Hi! You can use any bag as long as it fits the size requirement and it will be free. I have seen all sorts of bags used. United does check every bag so make 100% sure it fits the size requirements. Happy flying!

Hi there! I would recommend purchasing seats. The computer doesn't recognize you have toddlers and doesn't always group bookings together. Me personally I would not chance it. Have a safe flight and thank you fro watching!
I have flight on next week with united airlines, the bag dimensions they mentioned was 158cm and my bags was 160cm, this leads to any problem with dimensions , will they concentrate on weight or dimensions plz reply

2 seat assignments for $30 is a good deal. I would of done that. But my recent purchase I got bargin tickets that were super low. $58 dollars per way per person. But for seat assignment it would have been an additional $40 per person per way for a total of $160 total round trip. So I'm taking the chance for seat assignment. We are going to arrive at the at the airport 3 hours in advance in hopes to be seated together. 🤞🤞
Usually if tickets are purchased together you will be assigned together but not always. I know it is unnerving.. You can also ask to have your seat reassigned together at the gate agent. Last effort once everyone is on board and seated usually you can ask a flight attendant if you may move your seat. Often if you ask someone to trade seats they will if they are in the middle.. aisle seats and window seats are hard to get someone to trade. Have a safe flight! Hugs!
