What a great stop to now have on your schedule. Ocala is considered the Horse Capital of the World with 1200 horse farms, 50 national champions, 6 Kentucky Derby Winners, 2 triple crown winners, 50 National Champions, 26 Breeders cup and on and on. You can go out to the farms for tours or just drive around
Its a permanent stop !
I use to work for Marion County Board of County Commissioners and you are absolutely correct. The farms are very beautiful there.

When you are ready to explore more of central FL you will need to check out Renniger’s in Mt. Dora, southeast of Ocala! You could spend days there thrifting. Silver Springs near you is one of the oldest FL attractions. Happy to have you in FL, hope you will love it!!oh almost forgot to tell you, Stella needs to be treated all year for heat worm because of our climate.

Very cool place. I especially like those dancing ladies and the Rushton skunks. I don't think I'd pay that much for them when they probably need a bit of restoration.

Nice shop with a good variety. How nice that they let you in the backroom. Definitely a place you're going to have to put into your shopping rotation.

Jeffrey. That was a good price for the two Rushtons. The white skunk goes for way more alone as it is the Valentine's one. I would go get them.
Don't know anything about them, except the white one was butt ugly. The black & white skunk was cute though.

I personally love goofus glass. I think it tends to be overlooked in the reselling community, probably because of the flash painting technique that tends to wear off over time. It doesn’t bother me though. I think it shows the item’s history. Anyway, I love seeing all of the new stores you get to shop at now. I’ve never been to Florida so it’s fun to see what’s available on the other side of the country (I am in Portland, OR:). Anyway, thanks for sharing, Jeffrey! 😊

Omg!!! I have been collecting hagen renniker since I was nine years old and I'm 66 now. I was in complete heaven looking at those miniature figurines seeing the ones I don't have.
Well this is a good place to haunt, Jeffrey. Good variety and the proprietor is willing to check things for you. A good place to put on your regular visit list maybe? Nice to go along shopping with you as always 🐆😸🌻

I follow quite a few equestrians channels and a couple of them are in Ocala -- good weather for all year round training and consistency. It is hard to ride in in minus -20 C without your hands and feet freezing off, even if you have an arena (cuz they usually aren't heated). Loved the bird with the red & the stripes. I think that is the nicest one of those you've found. So many cool things in that store.

I think that piece is wedge wood but in cobalt? Saw George show some pieces in a recent video and was when I learned about cobalt wedgewood…. He said it was harder to come by… love that you do the store in opposite directions… one of my tricks too 😉
I bet you miss Barb when you see older plush animals at stores. Seeing them makes me think of her sometimes.
That skunk was pretty cute but $75 is a bit on the high side considering the condition they were in. That tiger was adorable though. I bet someone will snatch him up during a sale.

I've never been one for liking those Rushton style toys....I found them creepy with the plastic faces and soft bodies....but thats just me obviously.....

Hi, Jeffrey. It seems you are adapting well to the needed personal changes you have made. My mother had that turtle cookie jar when I was very young at least 40 years, maybe more. That turtle is not an individual ceramic.
