Dropping like flies in Florida 🤔 I can say that cause I am also a senior, lol. You are smart to buy what you need at estate sales and thrift stores. No need to buy new when you can reuse items.
Nice, Jeffery! Loved the handmade dolls, and glad you picked up the perfume bottle. Careful what you use on floors! Years ago, the liquid cleaner killed dogs and cats. Owners couldn't figure out why healthy pets were dying. The cleaner would get on their paws, and be licked off. Then, chemicals would accumulate in the pet's liver and kidneys, and by the time they were taken to the vet, it was too late. This was quickly hushed up by the manufacturer, but I don't want Stella hurt, or anyone else's pet. Thanks!

That chair was gorgeous, cushions are easy to replace. The fact that it rocks was a bonus!
And there was a matching ottoman behind it! Covered up w material of some sort..😄

Looks like shopping in Florida may be a little different than Illinois. Those estate sales were really packed with good stuff. And you can shop for your home at the same time!

I get so overwhelmed at estate sales. You should bring a large canvas bag to put things in. Another great video
I agree with the bag. Ikea bags work great but even a large .99 cent bag from TJMaxx would work too. They have many designs and they are all lined up near the registers. Great for gift wrapping too. Hope yall have them in Florida. TJMaxx, Home Goods and Marshall's are all the same company and Jeffrey it's a great place to shop for house stuff. Check it out.
A bag would be helpfullbut, a lot of estate sale companies do not allow people to bring in bags.
I don’t see why, people could fill their bags and take them to one person to add it all up on their way out

Hi & welcome to FL! At the last sale I spotted the older type blankets with satin trim, those can be good sellers!
Blue shower curtain looks great, now if you had bought those blue carpets, your bath would be done lol Dolls are very nice
Jeffrey I really loved the Florida estate sales they all had great stuff! Loved the new shower curtain, you can tell it was “brand new”. Those dolls were adorable too. And wow vintage linens 👌…. I think Your new town has better stuff at Estate Sales!
I would of picked up the gold frames with the still life paintings and the gold lipstick holder! 😍

I love the handmade dolls! So cute. You could furnish your house at estate sales! Don't be so picky Jeffrey. You pass up stuff people would buy sometimes. You also do well with picking up unusual stuff. The kitchen set was a good deal.

Jeffrey, someone here mentioned that you take a big bag with you when estate sale shopping. Noticing that you buy lots of glass items, you might want to try a filding shopping hand basket. I put a piece of sturdy cardboard in the bottom of mine that way the glass doesn't roll around a bag but sets sturdy in the bottom of the basket. Mine is about the size of the hard plastic ones at grocery stores and some thrift/antique shops. I bought mine years ago from William Sonoma when it was still affordable.
Just something to think about.........
Hi Jeffery , fantastic estate sales . Should of got those turtles tho . I think they would have sold up to 50 dollars , but you got some great items any hoo . Very smart to get your home goods too those swifders run for 20 dollars , very smart shopping luv .

Holy Moly!!! That was a busy estate sale! I usually don't go to the ones near me (northeast) because they price really high.

Next time you see a packet of old needle books for only $5 Jeffrey, pick it up. I've paid twice that on Ebay for just one. But maybe they aren't as quick a sale as you prefer. Do you still price check stuff on Ebay when you shop? So nice to see you happily bopping around on your errands, shopping, and decorating your house in Florida. I hope you'll be very happy there.

I agree. With that big group of shoppers and the good prices I bet Jeffrey missed some great stuff. Imagine the great stuff he could have scored if he had been near the front of the line.
You got some pretty nice things at those estate sales. I've got to say though I have never seen people cover their entire carpet with shrink wrap during a sale. Great idea though to keep it clean.

Thanks for taking us along. I was trying to see the jewelry you passed in one of the houses but you're too fast 😀I planned on hitting some shops Friday and we ended up in 1 antique shop the entire time. Hollywood antique mall. Weird set up Its like an old mall with a flea market inside full of beach bungalow attire and then the antique mall on the side.
I have been looking for those pink sheets and pillow cases you picked up. I have a yellow set like them.
You will do real well in Florida, alot of people are retiring you will score

Wish we had this type of thing here in the UK. If someone dies the solicitors usually just get a house clearance firm in and the stuff ends up at car boot sales and auctions, or at the tip 😢
The first one had a lot of nice things, but I would have felt so cramped there. At least the people sounded friendly there. You got some fun things from what I saw. I was surprised you didn't get the kitchen table and chairs from the first one, but I am sure there will be a lot more to choose from judging from the number of estate sales there seems to be down there.

Hello Chanel 2018....I do go to estate sales and Yes I do find it 😢 sad when homes have to be liquidated for the family....but I have learned that these estate sales also help the families to recoup some money for whatever they may need it for. So now I feel like I am taking part in helping the families, of any estate sale, to rid themselves of items they really don't want. Remember One persons discards Can Be Someone else's Treasure. This is surely one way to help any neighbor. Think Positive.
What happens to your "stuff" when you die...
It's just awful and disrespectful of families to do that. Makes me sad
@@mairwaugus5203 How do You think Beautiful Vintage items get to Goodwill, Salvation Army, Saint Vincent de Paul, Habitat for Humanity or any other charity- thrift store. Many of the Really Great Pieces any STRANGER/RESELLER Finds have been Donated to any of these places just for some STRANGER/RESELLER WHO WANTS TO MAKE A PROFIT. Yes a Person Finds it and Turns around to Keep it or Regift or Resell. Is this better than the family making a profit first??? Besides everything We Have and Love on this Earth WE CANT TAKE IT WITH US....JUST THE LOVE WE MAKE IS WHAT WE TAKE...AMEN

If anything is in good shape, it might be a good idea to get but I haven't been to a garage sale for awhile. At least I get to go with you when you're at estate sales.

Omg that Surrey was so neat to see!!! I grew up in Ocean City, NJ and I can remember in the summer renting a Surrey and riding on the boardwalk, it was sooooo fun! Jeffrey btw you look so much lighter and free, Iike the weight of the world has been lifted off if your shoulders ☺️❤️
