What a comfort and treat it is to be allowed to share your garden and your teas, And your fine understanding of antiques, your lovely crafts, artwork and books. Thank you so much
You are very welcome!
GOD bless this woman for sharing a part of her life with us.Its such a blessing to my life as I live with a liver disease every day .
May God Heal you in Jesus Name,🌹 Amen~ Dear Jeri I have a disability and walk with Jesus and you in His garden He has Blessed you with. His love and Grace I receive from your videos are refreshing as I wait on upon, The Lord to renew my strength
~God Bless you,🌹Jeri~
Jeri, you are well loved and respected. If anyone judged you for having spotty hands, it’s on them. I think of the beauty those hands have brought forth and given to the world, so they are instruments of beauty. My mother had terrible arthritis and she used to comment about her “ugly” hands but I remember them as beautiful because they belonged to my beautiful mother. 😊
Thankyou, so much, I try to look at my hands with kindness, as they have been such hardworking appendages throughout my life. I too, think of my mother, who's hands are 94yrs old and covered in character and loveliness.
I needed some cheer on this dull day, so I’m watching this beautiful video again.
I'm so glad!
Love every bit of this video!! And I can relate about not having pretty hands. I just tell everyone that my hands are the symbol of hard work and wisdom! 😁
I'll take those symbols!
Blessed Resurrection Day!
I just love how you use vintage kitchen utensils. It's a beautiful ode to when things were made in America and were made well and meant to be passed down.
Indeed, I am so amazed at some of these little kitchen contraptions that require a bit more time and effort, but speak of a time when life was so very different.
Always a blessing to enjoy tea with you! Thank you for your lovely video. He is Risen! God bless you Jeri. :)
AMEN!
What a lovely tea table! And lemon is my lifetime favorite flavor! Those lemon tart cookies look out of this world scrumptious! Thank you for bringing me along in your garden. I learn so much and I especially love your calm voice. It’s a gift! Many blessings 💗🌷💗
I can't say enough about those cookies, they are so good. And they are so rich, you only need to eat one!
I love when the chicken step on your garden tool😂😂
Peggy comes a runnin when ever I start to dig!
Jeri you deliver such wonderful messages... nature, life, growing things, slowing down, fresh air, reaching back to when everything was way less complicated. You speak to all of us "old souls" that tend to gravitate together. I remember the violets in my grandmothers garden and see them spread throughout your gardens. Love them. I bought some pink primrose seeds from Everwilde Farms and will plant them around my yard windmill. And I will most definitely make the cookies. I'm waiting on a tea I ordered from Amazon called Paris Breakfast from Stash. It is a blend of black tea, bergamot and lavender...like Earl Grey with a soother. Love how you've added tea to your videos. Do you ever read Gladys Taber...her Stillmeadow books? Until we see you next...sending blessings from Texas. Keep well. 🌷🌷🌷
Yes indeed, we "old Souls" do gather together! I let the Violets do whatever they want to do, because I can't stop them, and who can say no to a heart-shaped leaf? I have a Paris Tea from Harney and SOns, haven't featured it yet, sound like the same ingredients. You will adore your little pink Primoses. Never read Gladys... will look her up.
Oh Jeri, I dearly love Harneys teas too. And I would simply love to have your tea with you in the garden on lovely plates. I like a southern recipe for pimento cheese on little sandwiches. Thank you!
That sounds good...
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow Paula Deen has done a recipe of that from her home. Not only looks delicious but also intriguing!
You're a blessing Jeri! Thank you for sharing your heart, mind and talents with us!
We're all ready to come over for a tea party!!!
Come on over, the teas still hot!
I love the gloves! I absolutely loved it all!! I'm 41yrs old and can't stop watching all of your videos!! I didn't come from them times well I do think we all have prior to our life now!! I think that's why we feel such a connection to older stuff such as them old games!! I'd of loved to play them games instead of internet games they put out it's ugly. The love that is time spent with one another was I think much sacred 💙 💕 ❤. The old tools and gadgets you still use is just amazing to still have it all, I'm sooo mad I let my mom get rid of all my 80s toys, I found Katie skates on ebay I grabbed! You can't find one toy that was made so well from the 80s.
It’s, Hopalong Hollow time, with Jeri!” It’s such a joy to watch and learn.” 💕 I have to say, I especially love the intro!” Thank you”, for introducing me to, Bill Leslie, I have added him to my Apple Music. I have Irish and English on my dads side and Swedish on my moms, so I can appreciate. 😉 So looking forward to the next series about antique flowers.” Thank you, Jeri!” I’m so glad you’re here!” Stay well.” Gods blessings,” 🌞🌻🐓🦚🌱
I love his music, must be my English roots as well!
Your property looks like a fairytale. I love all the stones that you have in your gardens. So dainty/rustic/victorian all in one. Very creative. It would be a wonderful vacation spot.
My mother has always made her egg salad with diced green olives and celery. I also have never heard of anyone else eating it this way, until I watched this video!
I love love this. After my own heart! Someone who teaches wonderful things and has class!
i literally clapped as you put the sandwiches and cookies on he table - I'm a bit lonely these days. Another thing, I always look up your dishes and other things that I enjoy , i even found and purchased a transferware cup i saw and am drinking tea out of it right now with you. Thank you Jeri for another peaceful afternoon
Lovely to have tea in a Transferware cup, my favorites.
I'm sorry that you feel lonely I don't know if you have a relationship with God but that's where I get my strength from and Jesus always calms me and I know he's with me
@@carmelaaustin3594 That's where I get my peace and strength as well, from the Lord.
I'm so glad to hear that
J. Serenity...hello from Texas. Sending you a virtual hug. 😘🌷🕇
Interesting and slightly whimsical garden. Your tea set up is so inviting and can only make anyone extra special. Such a hostess.
The hands that create are the most beautiful hands in the world 😘
I never had olives in my egg salad, but I'm sure going to try it!
I cried when you set your table.. thank you
That's very touching.
Your ability to create fine art shows in your gardens. Although you say it looks a bit chaotic, you've created a visual palate that is so pleasing to the soul of a fellow earth lover. On the surface, this kind of garden looks easy to create but without your eye for form, texture and scale, it wouldn't look nearly as pleasing to the eye. Thanks for sharing your love of the natural world. it's a joy to watch your special piece of land transform and grow.
Ah yes, I see that you understand Harmonious Confusion!
shirley a. murray love all your art and old ways. M husband and i have been married for 57 years and we both love old things etc. we always had beautiful gardens where ever we have lived and we have retired in az. ITS A BIT HARDER TO GROW SOME THINGS HERE.! We grow alot in pots. But we are trying in our second year. just not the same as Ohio! but winters are warm.Thank you!
Yes, It must be difficult to grow a lot of the plants we have, However, you must do great with lavender, russian sage, and all the ZInnias and sunflowers and succulents.
I love being able to look through and share the loveliness you live in
Happy Easter! I hope you and everyone are doing well and your gardens are flourishing, we are inspired and cant wait to see how the garden progresses! Our garden is starting to take shape but still a lot to do, stay safe everyone!
Love what you guys do!
The best to you and your gardens too!
Every minute spent here is delightful ❤️ Thank you.
I love your gloves - they look warm and cozy - I need a pair of those right now, it's been rainy and cold here in California! Lovely video - everything looks delicious!
What a peaceful place to live
The cooking so natural to and peaceful
No mixers clattering away. Wonderful old utensils and pots etc. My favourite Lemon Curd xx
Mine too!
Thank you for taking the time to make these BEAUTIFUL videos!!! They are such a treat! I love all that you share...and appreciate you for sharing! Happy Easter Jeri!
Happy Easter to you and thanks for your comments!
You videos are so beautifully done and delightfully inspiring!! So much so that my 10 year old daughter and I have been enjoying tea together! We prepare our tea treats, dress the table with my tea-wares, and watch your videos!! After we watch, we read one of my special vintage children's books and chat for hours. You have touched my daughters heart and brought back to me a desire to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life. She cannot get enough of time spent together having tea😊. Thank you my friend for these beautiful videos💕.
I just love that! You're never to young to discover the "art" of teatime. I'm sure you'll both enjoy an upcoming video that includes a very special Childrens Classic book, and tea in a very special location... I'm just waiting on the wild roses to bloom first...
Jeri Landers of Hopalong Hollow Oh how wonderful! Can't wait for that one💕.
When those plants bloom please, please share a video. My 6 yr old granddaughter and I watch you. She loves the cooking and tea part best. She loves your peacock. We enjoy our time with you.
I am so glad to hear it, we'll have to switch to Ice Teas soon! ( but they will be good ones) Our peacocks are quite the stunners.
💐Such a beautiful table setting, and I cant wait to try the lemon curd cookies! Happy Easter, Jeri! 🌱
The garden is waking up beautifully. I will be trying your delicious cookies as our tree is loaded with lemons. Happy Spring!
Your last few videos about tea have been so charming that it has made me start using my vintage china I've collected over the years again, and sit down and have a little tea party while in lockdown.
Also, I wanted to say that you are such an inspiration-- ever since I was a girl, I have always dreamed of living in the countryside, having a vegetable garden, with lots of animals, and writing little stories-- and though I can't yet realize that dream, it is lovely to sort live vicariously through these charming videos.
Glad you are using your china with a touch of class! It was always my wish to live on a farm, as a child, and have horses and grow Hollyhocks. Donkey suffice and Holllyhocks do grow here. Dreams do come true.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow Thank you for your sweet comment. My dream is to have horses and grow foxgloves 😊. I'm glad you are living your dream and sharing it so beautifully. 🌿
That gooseneck loose strife is pretty invasive 😊❤️. How lovely to take the tea time out of doors !
This is the white loosestrife, not as invasive as the purple. Sometimes, I like an assertive plant, especially in a shady area where not much will grow. Periwinkle does that, very promiscuous, but I like it under a tree.
Jeri Landers of Hopalong Hollow I tried the white but I have a small garden and it was popping up in the middle of all my other plants but I’m sure you have more experience. I got nervous and got rid of it over a few years😘
tying the sandwiches with the chives is a Terrific Idea!
What a lovely gorgeous table tea 🍵 time, beautiful life style, your so sweet Jeri . Thank you so much I loved your wonderful channel a lot of fun 💕🌸🌺🦋🦋🦋God bless and peace ❤️
Hi Jeri. You and your videos are a treasure. They have also been a way for me to calm my anxious heart today. God bless.
You know Jeri I often see those plate sets in boxes like that at Home Goods. I LOVE that place because they have great cooking stuff and great home decor. PS that tea pot is gorgeous!
So inspiring! Things are just now pushing through the ground here in New England. I can't wait to see more green and color! Thank you for sharing
Yes, you're a bit behind us in the growing season, but you can grow really beautiful Lupines up in New England and ours really struggle in the heat down here.
My dear friend sorry I haven’t been buying quite a while but I have decided to stop by today and see some beautiful videos because your videos are always so beautifully done you always come up with the most wonderful videos to enjoy always inspire me so much with everything you do hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy
"Follow the lay of the land" I love that saying. That's exactly what I do on my land. I look at my trees and bushes (outside the Veg.Garden) and I see them with their own characters in which I shape them! Does that sound strange? The stones are just beautiful - I feel like going out and digging some out. Oh that dish set is so pretty. I like the size of the tea cups. And the tea pot is so pretty. I like collecting tea pots as well. I have a few that I've thrifted and collected throughout the years. Plus my grandma left me two of them. Lovely. Oh I will be making some chicken salad for sure. Being outside in the garden while enjoying some homemade food is absolutely the best feeling of accomplishment especially when you see all your efforts coming together upon site!!!! So beautiful. Have a blessed day. Bertha in TEXAS.
I don't think it is strange at all. I have a huge stump from an ancient Mulberry tree sitting smack in the middle of a yard... I think it has personality too! I want to design a garden all around it. So nice to sit outside among the awakening plants and take it all in... with a cuppa tea and a cookie.
My mother-in-law made egg and olive sandwiches too. I really enjoy your garden and I learn something every time I watch. Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful!
Jeri I just love watching all your videos I am so happy I found you.
Don't know what your kitty was talking about during the curd but one of the cats here came over nodding his head agreed happily an pranced off to play 😄thank you for sharing 💞
Oh those Kitties speak the same language!
I love so much having tea with you, it is always with elegance and delicious treats. Thank you for the lemon curd recipe. Thank you Jeri, see you soon ! Easter Blessings.
Hi Nath, Hope I didn't mispronounce the French name on the dishes too badly....
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow not at all, it was perfect ! 💖
And those are definitely Spanish bluebells. The bluebells in the woods behind where I live are starting to come out. The fragrance on a warm day is one of the things I look forward to every year!
Dearly love those wonderful Bluebells, especially stunning in the woods among the moss and Narcissus.
We had such a wonderful tea time with you! My daughter asked about your gloves and you answered her question. She thinks you are a lovely lady and so do I. You have two generations of fans in our home. Love the tea set and I’m going to try making your egg and olive salad sandwich.
Wonderful, I'm glad I answered the glove question and I'm so happy to have you both for tea!
What a lovely video. Thank you. I can't wait to try the lemon curd and cookies and that tea sounds perfect. I'm looking forward to the antique flower video. I have a lilac bush that was my great grandmothers that came from Quebec, another grandmothers peony bushes, and another great grandmothers rose bush. I call that area of my garden my heritage garden.
That's beautiful, your own heritage garden. My mother never grew anything but tulips.....
Made these cookies today and they were fantastic!! Those cookies were even good all by themselves. But the curd was probably the best I ever made. Thank you Jeri.
We had egg and olive sandwiches but my mom used chopped black olives, which were delicious as well.
Happy Easter Sunday, Jeri! What a wonderful Easter video this is. It's pouring rain here in Ky as I'm watching but for a little while I was transported away to gardeners delight of peacocks, wisteria, plants with a luscious lemony tea party for a finale. Your China is so pretty and, as always, I love your music. And I love your gloves. They take me back to olde English tea party times with books and cups of tea and oil lamps. Hope you never stop wearing them. God bless and keep you well and safe.
We've got that rain coming tonight, it will water the seeds for us. I will always wear my gloves. I need them, and they are so cozy on cold hands..
Wonderful video. Love your style in serving tea with a dose of vintage charm. Thank you.
Here in NW WI, 3-5 inches of snow expected today! No gardening here till at least Memorial Day. Happy Resurrection Day, Jeri!
Gives you plenty of time to prepare. Happy Bless-ed Day!
lol I love how you described one garden as a no dig garden when there before our eyes, the chickens were digging away :) You remind me of myself = I like anything I can get a lot of! :)
I grew up eating chopped black olive sandwiches. My mother mixed chopped olives with mayonnaise and spread it on white bread. Yummy! Thanks for the tea recommendation, you haven’t steered me wrong yet.
Love the instruction in the lemon curd recipe not to "fret"!
It looks pretty bad at that stage, lol!
I'm so happy to have come across your channel. I love your choice of music to go with your cooking. Your gardens are very peaceful to me, I enjoy planting from seed and I am always surprised at there outcome. Thank you for sharing💝
Your home is beautiful. I just love your gardens. Even peacocks.
You are amazing. Thanks
Thank you so much!
This gives me Spring Fever
Such persistence and patience for your garden
I'm going to try the egg and olive sandwich sounds good
I'm also wanting to buy that tea
wow usually MUM prepared eggs sandwiches for breakfast in Poland many many years ago... this is very beautiful tradition for Easter to prepared in old-vintage tone ... Love it very much. Tried to transfer everything for my children & grandchildren.. All the best my Dear...
Thank you so much!
I always love stopping by and seeing your beautiful garden you always have everything so beautifully done it’s always a joy to watch your videos. I’m going to try to get caught up on some of them that week for I know I’ll be inspired hugs and kisses from Grandma Sandy
👋Hallo Misses Landers, wunderschön,🐜🐝🐛🐌🐞 so was von liebevoll.
Always love your peaceful kismet videos.
Glad you like them!
I love watching your videos, they are so relaxing and beautiful to watch. I've been renting this beautiful property for three years with 12 acres part woods, part landscaped, it has orchards of pears, we have fig, apple, lemon tree, olive trees, vegetables, herbs, and lots of english roses. We have chickens, ducks, turkey and several bee hives.I love it here and I continue of adding my own seeds and flowers that I have to make the property even more beautiful. I too always wanted a property like the ones from Beatrice Potter, an english garden or a french garden. You inspire me to continue on having a beautiful garden.
You property sounds pretty magnificent to me!.. You must be in a Mediterranean climate...or California.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow Actually, I live in Vidalia, Georgia and yes it is a beautiful property. I'm in love with it, just like I'm in love with your property. Happy Gardening.
I have had that pleasure: It was impossible to take in as much as I could get to in a few hours!
Kew Gardens, that is! Also delightful, the CZcams National Garden Scheme Uk videos.
@@marthaevans6932 you are so fortunate! I've only virtual visited....not quite the same by a long shot!
Jeri, your Vlogs are a Feast for the eye & Nourishment for the hungry SOUL......GOD'S Creative POWER, Being Tended by You. #GOD'S ABUNDANCE
Lovely vlog as usual. The matriarch of the small business I work for, Mrs. Petersen of Wee Forest Folk, turned 100 last year. My co-worker and I made a tea for Mrs. Petersen on her porch last fall. These recipes would be excellent for a spring tea....when the quarantine in Massachusetts is over.
Yes, this would be a perfect tea for Mrs. Peterson
Yes Jeri, we only eat our egg salad sandwiches with green stuffed olives. We are descended from French Canadians and that is how we enjoy our egg salad. Not sure if that is where the tradition comes from or not.
Your videos are so wonderful as is your art and gardens.
Thank You for sharing.
Thanks for the input, maybe the sandwiches were more universal than I first thought. My father came from Dutch heritage and my mother from English.
I have so much clay in my yard. I can’t plant anything even the ones that everybody says you can’t kill I can. I have two trees that took and are trying to grow. That is about it . I’m not a person with a green thumb. But love flowers alway thought that I would have flowers that I could go out and cut all kinds and make flower arrangements . So far it is not happening. I don’t know how old you’re but you made me remember the good old days that I love and forgot how quiet and peaceful thank you god bless stay safe where ever you are,
You can help your clay soil by amending it with Compost. Just purchase a couple bags of compost and work it into your clay soil. It will make a world of difference for your plants. We have clay soil too. Thank you for the nice words!
You are a blessing to me during a stressful time. Thank you for sharing so much beauty
Yes we had egg snd olives . So delicious Beautiful lunch. Thank you for sharing
Lovely time watching your Easter Video. So restful and rustic. Nice calm place to visit.
Glad you enjoyed it
I grew up on egg salad with olives. I still have them today.
Hello just love ❤ your garden 😍
Hi Jeri, my mother made egg salad sandwiches with sliced green olives or diced onions.
We lived in northern New York very close to the Canadian border. My husband’s family is from Indiana and he had never had it prepared this way.
It is also very tasty to place a green olive on top of a deviled egg.Thank you for sharing your home and cooking. It is always interesting and uplifting.🌷😊
Sounds like something My mother would make... and me too!
You have given me courage to start my perennial bed. I struggled with how to do pathways and boundaries. So I am just starting and will change things as needed. I love your gardens. Mrs CB NE Ohio
I will do a video on paths and walkways, they are so crucial to creating an interesting garden.
Yes, I grew up on egg and olive sandwiches in West TN!! Your tea table looks delightful!❤
I enjoy your videos so much. I’m in WV and the temperatures dropped below freezing last night, but I think my cherry trees and flowers are going to survive. I had a chicken that helped me cultivate my gardens. I was always afraid she was going to move in as I was digging and I would get her head or foot. 😄 I can’t wait to try making the lemon curd and smash cookies. Thank you for sharing your lovely gardens, animals, and recipes. 🥰🌸
I really have to be careful with Peggy, she just goes for the worm and pays no attention to the moving tools!
What a treasure to watch one of your beautiful videos on this Easter Sunday. I only want to give you one small warning, the hyacinth bean is a beast. I planted it last year on a 12 foot tuteur and it completely covered it!! It is beautiful and I love it, but it is very prolific... not sure if you have ever planted it in the past....enjoy! BTW I love your little fingerless gloves, very charming; very Victorian. Thank you again. You videos are always informative and deeply uplifting. Blessings.
I am really grateful that you have warned me, I never grew it before and now, I think I will have to move it to a sturdier foundation.
What a lovely tea seating... Thank you for sharing your garden
It was so nice to have tea outside for a change.
Stop ITTTTTT !!!!! That is THE most incredible menu !!! Olives & eggs ? Yum.... I’m doing the salmon, cream cheese & cucumber... I’m 1/2 Greek, 1/2 Irish ... I really need to cozy up to my Irish- y side. And ... LEMON CURD .... my eyes are rolling back in my head - salivating.
Ok- back to your impeccable garden. Love the cedar & stone ! I have cedar trees galore & had to remove some & stone ? I literally have Stone Mountain in my yard - so the cardboard layered no dig garden was necessary. I adore also Back to Eden CZcams channel for no dig. Please familiarize yourself with this channel! You will not be sorry.
I'm a little envious of all your stone, I love using it all over the place.
We grew up on egg and olive sandwiches too....just love watching your videos....hope to meet you in person someday...we moved to western NC six months ago...nearer to family...
I really needed this, thank you for our delightful tea. My son’s adore lemon! Thank you for sharing you love and knowledge!
Hi Jerry and happy Easter to you my friend. Thank you for inviting us into your home and sharing all your acquired wisdom and encouraging ways. I had a marvelous time🕊💗 looking forward to the next tea time🌸
Oh I am amazed at how your gardens are growing; here in Alberta, Canada we are still looking out at snow. Happy Easter Blessings to you and all the Hopalong critters.
Tennessee starts greening early!
Barbara Szijarto, my fruit trees and many of my flowers were blooming and our temperatures dropped below freezing last night. It is supposed to drop again tonight. I’m in West Virginia and our weather is so unpredictable. I hope your spring arrives soon and stays. 😊🌸
So lovely. Just what I needed it to awake to put my mind in what is lovely n beautiful today. Nature, gardening, and having a time for tea and delightful baked. Thank you! You are awesome 💄💋🙏🏼

You have my absolute dream garden.. it is utterly magical. I am new to your channel and I’m going back to watch all your videos. I am so inspired. Thank you so much for giving us a peek into your world.
And you can have a garden like this, it just takes time and a bit of effort, thank you for coming along!
Love watching your videos! No mistake. A lot of work goes into gardening. Your garden I'd so lovely and the fact you can move plants to other beds for additional bursts if delight iswonderful. I am enjoying the cooking segments as well. I love lemon curd!.
I am now officially addicted to Lemon Curd.
What a lovely Easter video. The garden is looking good and the tea was superb.
Thanks so much 😊
I have a GREAT idea. I would love to see a video on old birdhouses, gourd birdhouses, making birdhouses as they were once seen on many country farms They are so beneficial to bring in birds to the country home and garden. There are so many lovely ones. Just a thought. Love your videos
Good idea, perhaps Purple Martin houses made from gourds..
Clotted Cream and Lemon Curd in the refrigerator. Scones and Prince of WalesTea to make in the morning. Thank you! By the way your French is perfect, dear friend.
You are ready to start the day with class!
I am so grateful for your enchanting home and gardens, it is like a meditation for me! Blessings! 🌻
