Your animals get to live such glorious little lives, thank you for that, so precious to witness.
love watching you cook with the old spoons, antique grinder etc... adds so much to creating a mood.
Jeri just wanted to say your videos bring me so much joy, you are so inspiring, you have the sweetest garden. Thank you
I'm so glad!
I loved those sweet little fluffly baby chicks all lined up on top of the fence - all of them in different colors! They were so cute! And the little yellow ducklings were just adorable too!🤗🐥🐤 I am always just so in awe of all you antique kitchen implements! They are so wonderful. The mousse & lemonade looked deliciously refreshing!😋🍓
Those little chicks are called Starlights and SIlver Blues. The Starlights will lay green eggs. The Orange Hen is their adoptive mother.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow there were 3 different ones wasn't there? The little brown striped, the gray/silver, & the yellow ones????
Jeri you are absolutely glorious! Wherever you are life and beauty are sure to follow! Oh, to take in tea with you would be grand! My Mother had the most glorious English garden and yours reminds me a lot of moms! The days in the garden are healing and rejuvenating! How I look forward to these days again. The ending of your video is pleasing to the palette! Thank you for sharing your peaceful home! Hugs🍃🌷🐝🍓😘
I would love to have you over for tea, we would sit in the English garden and you could tell me about your mother... that would be nice.
I think strawberries are the best out of our gardens. Thank you for sharing your lovely flowers 🐝🐔🌱
No doubt about that, homegrown are so sweet, store-bought are usually flavorless.
Love the chicks enjoying peace and harmony, beautiful, great idea with the salt shaker.
Just love your flower beds. 🦚 have such a unique sound.🙏❤️from VA
I love your videos so much they remind me in a way of Tosha Tudor 🌸❤️
I love the life of Tasha Tudor, thats nice of you.
I agree!
Its always a pleasure to see your video's Jeri. I hope you are able to get on doing your craft shows soon.
The birds seem very happy at your place(: And why wouldn’t they be, it’s a beautiful piece of heaven. The larkspur in your garden remind me of my grandfather’s garden where he had a beautiful pastel assortment along his fence line , and down his driveway , all the way to his backyard . They were beautiful ! Now I have them in my garden, and I think of him every time I see them💐
Larkspur is such an old flower, I used to pick it on my way to school as a child.
Another wonderful video! I love watching you cook, it's sort of mesmerizing and always beautiful music to accompany. Thanks for entertaining us so wonderfully!
The cooking bits are very relaxing for me to make.. i can't believe I'm enjoying cooking again.
Inspired by your previous videos, I planted poppies last fall, for the first time ever! We sowed them on top of the daffodils and muscari, which were also inspired by your videos. We're still enjoying the poppies even though the daffodils are finished. My husband is enjoying them much more than he expected he would, and he keeps sending me photos of them and encouraging me to come out and see them as new ones open up. Thank you again for your wonderful videos! I enjoy them so very much, and they're certainly enhancing our life out here at our Ridge Lea Farm too. Now, I will have to plant some Larkspur!
So nice to know that the ideas in these videos were put to use in someone else's garden! I love that your husband gets excited about the poppies... they are pretty special.
At 0.44 when the chicks are lined up grey, yellow, brown in a pattern 😍😱 so cute
I brought all 7 of the chicks from the farm store and gave them to my broody hen. The little rusty colored ones have "eyeliner" like an Egyptian! I've named them Nefertiti,Cleopatra and TUT. They will all lay green eggs except the silvers, which will lay brown eggs.
Had a stressful day and your beautiful video cheered me up.
I'm so glad!
I love to spend time in your garden, thank you for sharing such beauty
Thank you too!
I just love your home. It’s a piece of Gods paradise. ❤️ The gardens, the chickens, ducklings, and sound of the peacocks. Simply wonderful. 💖 My grandmother had CA poppies in her garden when I was young. So bright and orange. Such wonderful memories 🧡 Thank you for sharing a beautiful day! 🌸🌼🌺
California poppies were one of my first flowers ever grown when I lived in Colorado, I've never had as good a patch since.
Wow what a lovely beautiful gorgeous garden,I’m so impressed ,paradise so peaceful I can feel it.loved your sweet channel .Thank you so much.🦋🐇🧸💕👼👼👼
Oh my your videos are so relaxing as well as informative. I am so glad I found your site. Your videos are a great escape from this stressful time.
Watching your videos is like spending time with a friend!
Thank you my Friend!
I love color and texture throughout a garden area. Texture is a very important part of the beauty as is a mild, calming scent. I plant lavender, parsley and sage for scent in summer. I am a very prolific user of parsley in cooking.
You are quite the inspiration to me. My back porch is crowded with pots of little starts of hollyhocks, zinnias, cosmos and forget-me-nots started from seed. I’ve allowed the violets to stay along the edges of the flower beds and are blooming beautifully! I’ve ordered tulip bulbs for this fall to plant in big pots around my flower beds and I’m working up a full sun bed to sow the perennial wildflowers that I’ve gotten from Eden Brothers. I look forward to each new video. Thank you ! 💕
Nature Lover she has been a huge inspiration to me too. I have peas, lettuce and radishes in my potager. I wanted to start my Hollyhocks today but have ran out of time. Best of luck with your gardens.
That great, I bought the perennial wildflower mix from Eden brothers, sprinkled some of the seed in March and the section is simply overflowing in tiny plants.
Jeri Landers of Hopalong Hollow I wondered if I had to wait till after last chance of frost to sow that seed. I think you must be further south. I am in southeast Ohio along the Ohio river.
Kentucky Gardener thank you. I have my vegetable garden plowed and tilled. Just waiting on this cold spell to pass before planting. Can’t wait. Love gardening.🥰
@@NatureLover-yt8tu Sow them now, they like a period of cold.
Loving what is! Mr. Peacock, says I’ll show you my feather for some strawberry mouse! Stunning video! ♥️
Loved the advice , the animals, the peak at your illustration, the botanical dinner wear and my husband running out the front door when he heard your peacocks. He thought something was after our chickens. Lol You are greatly appreciated.♥️
I can just see your husband dashing out the door to save the chickens! SO Funny!
I love the chicks on top of the fence ❤️
They are a motley little crew!
Larkspur is glorious!! Thank u for reminding me about this plant!!
I love the dishes. She is my favorite water color artist. I have a cookie jar, books, mugs and more with her art work. I am glad you love it too!
I believe she did a childrens book as well...
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow I have the book A Walk in the Woods, I love it!
I know that these plants you showcased are nostalgic and tried and true. But I want some areas of my garden to reflect this cottage feel and so I am taking notes on propagation techniques and the habits of these beauties. You produce some fabulous examples!
The best of gardening to you!
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow THANKS!
Oh thank you Jeri ! Thank you for the recipe, for the flowers, for all... Your videos do good, for morale, for health, for everything. I see that you have plates with illustrations by Marjolein Bastin, I really like the wonderful work of this illustrator, what poetry ! Thank you again, see you next time !
I knew you probably liked Marjolien, we have the same taste in art.
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow I have a few framed cards at home, I love her work so much. Jeri Landers, Beatrix Potter, Jill Barklem, Marjolein Bastin ... 4 artists I admire 💖
Wow I love those plates! They're beautiful... I never knew the tulip was edible...
I really enjoy your CZcams show. I have found that it just covers so many different areas of beautiful and simple living within one video. I just really enjoyed your Poppy and larkspur flower show and the strawberry mousse. Thank you for your creativity and sharing. Your ducks and chickens are just adorable.
Thank you Sharon, I'm glad you like these bits of beauty and information!
I simply adore your channel! What a tranquil caress it always is.
Thank you so much...
Just the video I needed. We just put a sweet little picket fence around my she shed & hubby built raised beds. I have so many things to plant. You always give me such wonderful ideas, Jeri. :) xx Amanda
Sounds perfect, now have some fun in that garden!
I am planting some zinnias and foxglove today! My first ever! You have inspired me to get out there and plant what I enjoy. I will dry and collect seeds for next year, too. I may try some poppy’s if I can find them. My grandmother was named Shirley and we called my grandfather Poppy...so I’ll have to get the Shirley Poppy!Thank you so much!
That pleases me to bits; I wish your plants to thrive!
This year the wild poppies here in central Italy are so thick and lush. I guess it rained just the right amount at the right time because they are normally a bit spindly, but this year every plant is huge and thick with flowers. If I can get to them at the right time I want to gather some seed pods.
Love those poppy pods....
I agree with Martha below! I just so enjoy your videos!
So thrilled you planted poppies today !!!! A sweet gardener blessed me with some WIZARD OF OZ POPPY SEEDS, HA HA I LOVE THAT !!! And this will be my first time growing poppies! I think they are so beautiful, wish me luck as I do not have much of a green thumb !!!! Loved this video, as I love all of your videos! Sherry @ Queen Beez Vintage .Thank you for sharing today!:-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-)
Just follow my directions on the Poppy seed and you will do fine!
...❤️ ...❤️...❤️ is all I can say!🤗
Oh my gosh I just love all your beautiful flowers you have in your garden .Actually I am going to put a lot more flowers and food items in my garden. But it takes time to build up a really nice garden. So I am hoping each year I do a little bit more to my yard and get a little bit more looking really good and healthy. Thank you again for sharing this beautiful video with us your videos are always A+ plus is every single time .I can tell you put a lot of time in your home, your garden, and of course all your beautifully put together videos that I always enjoy watching even though they are long they’re worth every minute I watch them.
Thank you Sandy. Yes, A garden is a long term project with many hits and misses. If I had a dollar for every plant I've killed.... Some of my gardens were started 20 years ago and they still aren't where I'd like them to be.
What a gorgeous video, spectacular in every way, I need to save it in my favorites so I can return and enjoy the peace and beauty you have shared with us.
Thank you, Blessings 🐝
Thank you very much, glad to have your visit....
Love the antique flowers
Another piece of heaven to see your garden, such beauty, and thank you for the ideas on gardening and cutting. I so enjoy coming here for it makes forget life as it is right now ..love all the birds and animal sounds. I m planning on buying a house and hope to start a garden . Love all the kitchen gadgets like my mom had.
Thank you, love your dishes.
These are the utensils used by my mom as well, I love them so much.
I absolutely love your videos! So calming and good for the soul! Love your garden, and all the delicious looking food you make. I look forward to them every day, they really cheer me up, especially in these difficult days. Thank you. Love and Blessings 😊💕
Very happy to hear that, thankyou!
Such a beautiful video so full.of inspiration! Thank you so much Jeri! Love you and God bless! ❤
Thank you so much!
Another beautiful video! Poetry in bloom...
I adore opium poppies. I got a seed head from a fellow grower and bought a packet of seeds as well. I love the foliage as well as the purple flowers.
I agree, they have the best heads and the blooms are gorgeous. I'd like to try the Oriental Poppies next year.
I love your videos. Have been going back and watching all the ones I haven't seen as I am new to your channel. Thank you so much for sharing
You are so welcome!
I love your video. I did not know you could do that with tulips. That is so beautiful.
Strawberry mousse sounds delightful! Always a pleasure watching your videos 🌷
It was!
I was working in my flower garden, came in and showered and came into my sewing room to sew masks and thought I would check and see if you had a new video. Love learning about flowers. Your dishes are always beautiful, the music is the best and the food - oh my!
You deserve some Strawberry mousse!
Such a peaceful video , I so love sitting down with you at the end with my drink of choice and enjoy your table ware/tea pots when used and recipes. Thank you for the visit.
You are so welcome!
Sweet and pleasant treats are the best. Loved your video as always. Blessings.
I think I enjoyed that Mousse a bit too much....
A very beautiful video , The Larkspur and Poppies look wonderful xxxShaz 🌿🌱🌻🌱🌿
They grow very well in these parts..
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow I have a plant of the very big Oriental poppy, huge flowers with a black splodge on each petal...the seed heads were so very large ,I would dry them upright and sow the seed using the dried seed head like a salt shaker, with the seed popping out of the holes ❣xxxShaz love your Channel ❣
@@thekingstone8632 I'd love to try the Oriental Poppies next.. maybe next year, I'm already exhausted!
Your videos are so delightful. Update on my children, they are continually healing and our daughter will hopefully be able to stop using her crutches on Friday, and the horse they saved is doing fantastically well. Unfortunately during the process of getting them to the hospital, and overdoing it I myself have damaged my back but I have faith that I too will heal, your videos help in that process. Thank you for all of your kind words and prayers.
My Goodness, I had no idea your children had experienced such injuries in their heroic rescue of the horse! God Bless you all! There were quite a few responses to your last comment., hope they all see this.
You have beautiful bird music in the hollow.
We Do!
Very enjoyable presentation. The strawberries and mousse look delicious. I'm going to plant some strawberries in a big galvanized tub that belonged to my mother-in-law. I don't want a big patch, just enough to have with angel food cake or to make some milkshakes, my husband's favorite. That will be beautiful when those Larkspur bloom. It's such a beautiful time of the year.
I planted mine in tubs one year, it should work well for you>
Thank you Jeri .Very nice the a plate .love the video! !!
Hi Jeri.♥️🤗 Beautiful flowers!!!
Thanks for sharing the tip about using the saltshaker I may try that one too since I grow about 90% of all my plants your seeds thank you So much for all these awesome tips I get from your channel and other gardeners thank you so much again I really do love everything I find out on your channel and I love all the background on the plants also
I so look forward to your videos! They make my day❣️
I'm so glad!
another fantastic video!! That strawberry mousse looks fantastic too!
I'm going to do it again with Blackberries..
I share your love of Larkspur and your troubles with Delphenium. I have a bouquet of Roses, Iris and Peonies. Absolutely love to have the fragrance of flowers indoors. Thank you for another lovely video. Love the tulip as a cup idea.
I seem to get more joy from cutting my flowers and putting them in a vase, where I see them every single day. Oftentimes, they simply go unnoticed in the garden.
When I was a child, my mother used to cut oranges in halves and emptied them. With the pulp she made the mousse and refilled the oranges with it.
I must try that in a future video!
Poppies are so pretty, I have them too and collect the seeds to get some for the years to come. Your strawberry mousse looks delicious! Have a sunny and happy weekend Jeri!
Thank you Jeri for posting another lovely video. Its very soothing and has almost a therapeutic effect on the soul. Please do share more of your lovely gardens as and when you have time!
Thank you, I will
You have a little piece of Heaven Jeri.
So relaxing in your garden & home 🍀
Hello Jeri!!! So happy you posted another video!! your garden makes me happy :0)
I'm so glad!
Another wonderful video and you make it look so effortless. Thank you for taking the time to make these lovely videos! 💞
Ah, if only it were effortless.... but alas, it IS a bit of work.
Yay for lavender cookies! :)
Hi Jeri, Your video made me very happy. You have a great videographer to show us excellent detail in all you do. I enjoy how you come up with such fascinating ideas. Also I love your whip cream maker, thank you 😊
Oh My gosh, that took me FOREVER to get the whip cream to peak with my old time blender. I was tempted to take out hubbys fancy electric gadget, but I was determined to do it the old fashioned way!
Thank you I loved it all ❤ all the bird calls and spring green. The raspberry lemonaide reminds me of my favorite summer drink of cool raspberry vinegar Shrub .
Wonderful!
Always a pleasure Jeri. Have a wonderful day! 🌺🌷🌸
Thank you very much my dear Jeri. I love your beautiful video. I live in France (Aurillac) near my friend Nathanaelle (you know her). My english is no good excuse me. I have a garden me too. I cooked a yogurt cake after your video because i don't have any strawberry, are you laughing ? Your garden makes me happy, and i love the dishes. Good evening.
Yes, I know Nathanaelle, and so glad to meet you! I think a Yogurt cake sounds nice. it must be very moist and delicious.
I really like Marjolene Bastin's art, too! I used to have some of her calendars and cards.
That snack-break spread looks yummy....I can almost taste it!
The Mousse was divine!
Jeri, I’ve just discovered your channel and videos. What a Godsend you are! Your calming voice and beautiful flowers are just what I need at the end of a stressful day during these chaotic times. Thank you and wishing you good health, safety and God’s blessings.
Very glad to have you here and thank you for the nice comment!
Watching you cook is so relaxing! I wanted to see that peacock 🦚 so bad! It was so majestic and beautiful when the scene opened up with that peacock! I saw him again with his tail open and he looked huge! Such a gorgeous bird!! They sound so exotic but loud also lol! God bless you!!

What a beautiful video. I enjoy learning from you the history behind each plant. All your cooking objects you use are wonderful. My husband told me, my Garden was really looking beautiful. I said, thanks to Jeri I think I’m getting the hang of it. Thank you so much I am truly grateful. I know a lot of work goes into you making these videos. Have a wonderful week. 🌸🌷🦋🐣

Mesmerisingly beautiful
Yes! That s what i tell myself, too .. you deserve a nice treat after working all day in the garden.! I love the way you do your videos ...flowers, garden and then preparing one fantastic dish ... I think I have to try that strawberry mousse, looks delicious.
I have some of Marjoline Bastin s calenders and little books, too. You can recognize in her pictures that she loves animals and nature.
Her art has often inspired me, and your must make the Mousse.
I just love your garden!!!
What a great deal of trouble you went to for this lovely treat! As always, your presentations are glorious! Happy Spring, Jeri! 🌷
It was a bit of bother... but worth it in the end.
When I discovered Marjolean’s cards, I bought every one.
What a glorious life! Thank you.
Our pleasure!
Helli Jeri, Thank you for sharing a bit of heaven! Not only relaxing but informative & inspiring!

Hello Jeri, what a lovely video you have put together. I absolutely love this series on Antique Flowers. Thank you for sharing the history of the flowers. The recipes look yummy. I have been looking for a good Lavender Cookie recipe.
Thank you for all your efforts.

I absolutely love your videos!! I'm growing strawberries in my garden for the first time, and would love to give the strawberry mousse a try. Thank you for sharing such wonderful things!
I wish you wonderful growth in your strawberry patch!
I was so heart broken. I lost you. My computer lost most of the stuff I saved or subscriberd to . It took me most of the day to find you again. You inspire me so. It was like I losing my best friend. Love having you back you warm my heart. Hope you are safe and doing well.
Maybe put tulips in small glass bowls or punch cups perhaps. Anyway it was a lovely video! I recently found you and am binge watching every chance I get! They are ALL delightful! From a subscriber in SC, “Stay creative!”
I have never grown Poppies or larkspur. They are beautiful. It looks like you have very good soil. I live in middle Tennessee and we have a lot of clay soil. I have amended the soil in my beds but I only have a few beds so try to stick to the tried and true flowers for me. I need to look for my Williamsburg cook book. Have not looked at it in years. I remember loving it. The strawberry mousse looks so good. You always set the most beautiful table. Have a wonderful day.
We have clay soil like you. I agree, plant what works for you!
