- The 1981-86 Luweero Bush war protracted war changed the political landscape of Uganda’s politics that had been on a downward turn after independence.
In our 0-year independence journey we look at political milestones that have over time defined the path of Uganda’s political history mainly the dynamics of the war and why the National Resistance Army fighters led by Now President Yoweri Museveni had to pick guns.
Turagukunda perezida wachu Kaguta uri umuntu ukomeye muri byose ❤❤❤
Freedom fighter turned to be Emperor for life.

I love 💕💕💕 yoweri kanguta museven
Your alltime freedom fighters in the world
Uganda has been in turmoil since independence every leader has to be compelled out of office using military means something is not right.

4:07 is that kid still alive now?? It would be very interesting to know..
3:39 The truth comes out. These days when young people glorify Amin they're told they have no idea what they're talking about
I love my family
For the first time Uganda has tasted peace from border to border. Well done NRA and Yoweri Museveni.
Bro ❤❤❤❤ no human is perfect but seeing a genuine muganda like you really melts my heart, for sure most of us were not born before this era but according to the stories w get from our grands man 😢😢😢😢 may be he is not doing what we expect right now but standing to fight for freedom was so bravery, I think only those who have parents and relatives that were around during that time can tell, let's be patient we shall get another leader who will do as we expect may be but M7 brought freedom let's accept that ❤❤❤❤ thank you
@@ShyakaDan-qm1yj Majority young people have no clue about Uganda’s past. Uganda has come a long way. We only need to agree to even make it better for all of us.
RIP DR KAYIIRA.
Fr. Seguya of kijaguzo parish, this was peoples war surely
Respect ykm
Let these bush men enjoy the benefits, They were strategic in all the moves they did,Victory didn't come on a silver plate! ..04/2/2023
Not all those who fought are even remembered😢
Museveni my Father ❤
Appreciated biography of nrm
Late afande fred Rwigyema namuona
So muzeveni is doing like kagame is doing to his friends. No wonder muzeveni behaves like that he has fear
😢😢😢people died for no reason....how many years now still the same president
The main rationale is not who but what! M7 has maintained peace border to border for the first time in Uganda's history. A country needs stability for progress. Uganda had more presidents in its first 20 years but only benefited turmoil and blood shed.
Ahaaaa
Mr President you deed a good job to ugandans,we thank you
Hahaha ebyaliwo byonna byakomawo dda.
The curse of the blackman still lingers..endless wars nepotism, vote rigging and selfism are the order of the day...RIP Dr.Kayiira.

But was this M7
Just for clarification's sake, the images of starvation shown in this insert were not from Luweero but from Karamoja because there was a famine in that part of the country in 1980.
Museveni was a leader of children. Museveni should not be proud of this. Commander of Kadogo.
If follow the revolution of Uganda from 1981 up-to-date people shld not disturb him, leadership isn't easy.jaja bamuleke.
Museveni caused all that suffering!
That's how they get power! You cannot get power by just mear words like the now activists are doing,Sevo with his boys, they were all Strategic... Till date.
@@luwagachristopher138 In a primitive society only. Like, I think you also still have a primitive mindset, and so long as the likes of you are the majority, Uganda is still a primitive society and power will always be got the way you recommend. Thanks
@@patrickbarasa6466 This is Africa!,we are independent for only 60 years,it will take us 100 years to Master democracy! Its not being primitive like you have lamented, we are just growing, Americans were once in the same situation, with time, things changed, so currently don't expected power to come to you the way you want.
@@luwagachristopher138 power is gotten through peaceful, free and fair election which was one in 1980. Museveni and his NRA/M committed crime against humanity to date. He failed to take the late president Obote to any court of law.
He is lying here that the Obote government killed people and Lutwa government also killed people but when Museveni got power he could not take any one of the leaders he accused to any court. Who then was killing Ugandans in Luwero if not Museveni and his NRA/M?
In those days technology wasn't there and computers were very rare where did these stories come from?
Cameras were there old pictures uploaded
Use yr common sense wekake olowooza technology has been there 4 years naye nga mukade still u see the videos are old use yr senses

Museveni really faught
That's why most people joined the NRA's bush war. They had no choice, especially the many children or "kadogos", whose parents or guardians were killed.
