would have been lovely to have had a station at harefield but as we know its on a pretty steep hill , you have an amazing collection of underground stock very envious , excellent running session eric .......................tony
Hey Tony, yes in the village would have been handy indeed. The original south Harefield Halt / planned Harefield Road however were down the bottom on the now Chiltern Mainline where Harvil Road bridge crosses, next to what is now the skip hire place 🙂

That's the first time I've had a good look at your 4-rail sections there and it's very well done, chap. I forget the name of the designers of that style of station..Pique and somebody...very Art Deco and lovely with it. Very nice indeed. I enjoyed the running session immensely. Thanks Eric. A convincing representation of an LTU station. The Train-Tech indicator board is used to good effect. Moving the camera further away from the subject and zooming in will increase the depth of field, bringing subjects such as the information displayed on the Train-Tech indicator into focus! The platforms could do with a few more passengers to add liveliness to the scene! Thanks for uploading.
Perhaps take a look at your own layout ect before criticising mine.

As for mistaking him for the drummer, I should have known better as my interest in rock started in the early sixties and one of my favourite albums is the live album 'Made In Japan' (which I still have on vinyl). The LT Class 20 has seriously got to be the one loco that just doesn't fit in with my usual era/region but that I am just so tempted by as it just looks so flippin' good!

I LOVE your railway. You should be so proud of it! The sound effects are brilliant. Are the speakers in the rolling stock itself? Sorry, I don't know how it works as it's years since I had a model railway!

Me being a total Saddo and someone who drives through the real Harefield every weekend to visit relatives I am trying in my mind to place your station.
In my mind it's between the recently renamed pub by the canal and the shops by the roundabout.Such a station would make L B Hillingdon sort out the dodgy parking along that piece of road.
HS 2 traffic lights get on your nerves.No one works weekends and shut down for Christmas.Still have the lights at weekends.

Ha! Its based below Harvil road bridge where it crosses the chiltern mainline, the skip lorry place is next to where it was going to be built 🙂🙂
Great stuff, really enjoyed that, just wish the 38 stock was tube not Island Line.
Island line is one of my faves hence doing it.
Though i do have an actual 1938 stock on its way
Just came across your channel tonight and have subscribed over here in the US.
Quick question: How did you do the "Next Train Coming" electronic signs? I've never seen those before in model railroading regardless of scale.
Excellent modelling and video work of your layout.
That was excellent. Good variety of unusual, interesting stock and great use of a vast array of sounds, including many that a lot of modellers don't bother to use. The LT bias makes this quite a "niche" layout and that's what I enjoy about it. No offence to your 66s but we've all seen plenty of them. Not so many battery locos running around, either models or 1:1 scale.
Will we see one of the big manufacturers release something with working doors one day, or will you beat them to it?😁

Re the doors i doubt it in this scale, its likely not worth it financially this day and age sadly :(
Hi Eric.
I've just discovered your channel and I must say I'm so impressed with your great selection of locos and rolling stock. I'm also impressed with the scenery and the track layout itself.
I know it's slightly out of place, but I was surprised to see the Isle of Wight's 'Island Line' tube stock. Would love to own a rake myself but I feel it's something you have converted from standard EFE stock. Also love the 2 LT Underground diesels, something that I would love to acquire if my layout wasn't GWR period (pre-nationalisation) as I fear there would be no way to run them without looking out of place. Maybe it's time I started creating a 'London' layout.
It must have have taken you a long time to put together and build everything, but I suspect you had much fun with the process of designing and construction, along with the satisfaction of its completion and general all round look; I know I would be. Do keep it going as there are very few layouts on YT that depict the London Underground scene. Much appreciated.

Yeah the 483 is a converted EFE, motorised, with dcc sound and my own file.
The 484 is a metromodels bodyshell ect.
Out of place is up to you, its your layout at the end of the day, pretend its a preserved line!
It does take a long time, the trouble is i get bored and only half finish stuff! The 484 is proof of that 😂

Cheers bud, the chiltern rake i bought off ebay, it was a bad buy though tbh. Im going to redo them!
Fantastic, the sound of the doors closing with the announcements really bring it to life. Question - What were the yellow tube trains.?
Cheers mark. They are battery locomotives, used on LU engineering trains. I have a rake of turbots to run with them but ive only got round to modifying the first one so far, typical me!

Hi Eric. Great running session - really enjoyed it. It was fantastic to see some steam locos - I'm glad you haven't forgotten them. Was the diesel pushing the steam loco, or was it being pulled!?
Cheers! It was dragging the pannier tank to harefield and then pushing it into the bay platform 🙂

I have indeed, some of them have a subtle bit like the island line 483 ect but not many. Its on the list for sure as it will look so much better!

Great video Eric, curious are the Chiltern Rail mk3's resprays? I had thought it was impossible to get the correct waterslide decals?
They are indeed, i just bought them off somebody however it was a bad move tbh, they are very poorly done.
Im going to repaint them myself to a better standard when i get a chance
Would be great if Hornby decided to do them in tomorrow's 2022 launch, suddenly Dapol Chiltern 68's would be able to run!

The 68 has an EM2 speaker and has the brand new file from @johnJMC of Digitrains 😁

Ah! Someone else mentioned this ages ago, just on LT right? The IOW ones used 2 as thats where the recording is from. I can alter the file a touch so if in an LT standard then it only has one

@@UndergroundEric I only rode the standard stock after it went to the island and although comfortable they gave a very lively ride, especially when belting down Brading Bank from St Johns Rd. My Grandad drove them on the central but as I wasn't born until 66, I only got to ride/cab/and drive the 62 stock (I was only 8 so shhhhhh). But I do remember the Woodford shuttle with 1960 motor coaches and Standard stock trailers and later 38 trailers and even 67 stock on the shuttle.
