  • An old classic: Centipede by Atari 1981. The PCB we are looking at comes from my dedicated cabinet and started acting up lately. All the motion objects vanished from the screen. In this video we are troubleshooting the board step by step and are by the way discussing about a basic priniple/strategy of arcade pcb repair. As tools/helpers we are using the games schematics, our logic probe, oscilloscope and our brains of course! Have fun!

    What converter do you use to display the CGA signal to the television?

    DOKTORZETT, some arcade games use MASKED ROM chips instead of EPROM chips any reasons why?
