Fun Fact: The guitar player is Ritchie Blackmore of Rock group Deep Purple. 2nd Fun Fact: Candice Night, Ritchie's wife used to be a fashion model. The two have also been involved in the SCA (society for creative anachronism) as has singer Heather Dale (who I had the pleasure to meet at a house party concert).
Richie blackmore is a guitar God.
Why underrated? In terms of style of it,this band is one of the most popular folk ethnic medieval music group in the world. Also this band has Blackmore and that's enough.

I don't know why it took me so long to discover BN, because I'm a fan of Blackmore. But I'm totally smitten by Candice. The medieval old English sound along with Blackmore is really different and wonderful.
One of my favourite songs as well. The melody is 'Cantiga 353' by King Alfonso X "The Wise" of Castile (1224-1281).

I don't think a lot of people know that Ritchie Blackmore is from Deep Purple and Rainbow. I think lots of folks don't realize he has always been into multiple types of music. I think that contributed heavily to his becoming one of the most influential guitarists in the 21st century.
That's why this group is better than 'mainstream' groups which only creates shitty songs.
This song is absolutely amazing. The music is relaxing, but also spirited. The voice is sweet and soft. The text is enigmatic and perfectly fits to the music and voice. 10/10.
This is probably my favorite song by this band. It's so good, I love it!
The first time I ever listened to this song, it was on Halloween, so I've made it tradition to listen to it on Halloween night. Just makes everything so much cozier after a night of trick-or-treating.

It's one of my favourite songs by BN, in this version, which I prefer with the great electric guitar solo... that one and I Still Remember, plus the Storm, and a couple of others on this album - which is also my favourite album by the band. It was great to be able to do an interview at the time.

I love this! From the lyrics to the instrumental and Candice voice.
First time I saw them was in Salisbury, England. Didn’t know what to expect but got there early. Guy in costume was wandering around the audience playing shepherds pipes for 15 mins - fantastic. Found out later he was Minstrel Albert; great fun. The whole night was epic, loved every bit. Many favourites but Diamonds to Rust and Home Again stood out. Saw them again a few years later in Salisbury - hope to see again before Richie decides to put his feet up.

Блэкмора слушаю ещё с 6-7 класса, это 75-75 годы, и в Пёрплах и в Рейнбоу, а вот с этим его новым и необычным творчеством столкнулся полгода назад, и случайно. Его струны и голос Кэндис образовали такую бомбовую смесь, да ещё под средневековую колористику, это нечто!!! Вот бы побывать на их живом концерте!

I used to like Ritchie with DP >> Other Rock groups, but I think is where he should be with Candice. I like metal hard rock,but I've some soft spot for medieval music. He is Master musician!
