    Nothing like the Mizuno sound and feel. Well done guys.

    Luke man I am super happy to see you moving up in MOG! You helped get my dad get into some irons, a driver, and a 3 wood which might be my favorite club too. You still doing fittings for customers? If not, I understand. You are probably very busy but I trust any of the guys there

      Thank you! Unfortunately I am no longer doing fittings. But like you said, all of the fitters we have on staff are amazing and will be able to help you out.

    just for reference i got fit for the 245 and with my 6 iron testing distance was within 2 yards from 10 shots

    A more interesting comparison would be the 245 7 iron vs 241 6 iron. That 30 degree 245 7 iron is really just a 6 iron with a 7 stamped on it.

      Ppl often say that, but you need to understand ball flight. The launch and peak heights were very similar. 241 6i will have a lower flight that the 245 7i, even if it's the same loft, due to CG. If the 245 was the same loft as the 241, the ball would launch much higher in comparison and not be ideal.

      That spin on 245 is also gonna be low. Probably too low

    Do you think the P790 is more forgiving than the Pro 245? Have you ever did a head to head with these two irons? Thanks, Joe

    • @MilesOfGolf
      @MilesOfGolf  Před 6 měsíci +1

      P790 and 245 are very similar when it comes to overall construction and what you are looking to get out of the club. However, hard to say if one is more forgiving than another. We have seen it go both ways in fittings. It all comes down to who is swinging the club.

    5:43 states Modus but he's swinging a KBS Tour glued on. 11:28, not Modus, Rather DG 115

    Great review. Would someone with a 12HC fit in well with the 245's?

    • @MilesOfGolf
      @MilesOfGolf  Před 6 měsíci

      You definitely could! It all comes down what the data says. With it being a more forgiving club, I would venture to say yes, but it all comes down to the numbers you produce with them!

    Great video! I am currently playing the JPX921 Tour with KBS 120 stiff shaft and am looking to replace with the 241 or 243. If I combo the set, would I have to bend to adjust lofts given that the 243 have 2 degree stronger loft than the 241?

    • @MilesOfGolf
      @MilesOfGolf  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Thank you! And yes, you would need to have to adjust lofts to make them fit, however Mizuno does this themselves. When placing a combo set order with Mizuno, they will adjust everything on their end to make sure the loft gapping between each club makes sense.

    • @ChasinAcesGolf-rt8do

      @@MilesOfGolf Thanks for the response. Would a typical combo then be 243 for the 4-6 and 241 for 7-PW?

    • @MilesOfGolf
      @MilesOfGolf  Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@ChasinAcesGolf-rt8do that would be one of the more common set makeups. We also see a lot of 4-7i 243 and then 8 down in the 241.

  • @kakimotoK20
    @kakimotoK20 Před 6 měsíci +2

    There's nothing wrong with that spin on the 245, you've got to ignore the number on the bottom of the club. To get a real comparison you'd need a 245 in 8i or something that goes the same distance to see how the spin compares. My guess is when you get to that point it becomes negligible and us normal folk should always be playing the more forgiving straighter flying 245.

If the 245 was the same loft as the 241, the ball would launch much higher in comparison and not be ideal. The 245 is for players that need the distance and height help, not a player that wants more spin/flight control.

    Just a question, if you mix a set and say bend clubs stronger or weaker, does mizuno also adjust the bounce?

    • @MilesOfGolf
      @MilesOfGolf  Před 6 měsíci

      This is one of the main reasons they do all the bending on their side. They have set lofts they will bend them to, depending on where you are mixing the set at.

    Do you feel these are better than blueprint s or how would they compare

    • @MilesOfGolf
      @MilesOfGolf  Před 6 měsíci +1

      We just filmed a review of the Blueprint S and T and will be posting that within the next week or so! I wouldn't necessarily say one is better than another. It all comes down to the person swinging and what they like better.

      @@MilesOfGolf I’m stuck between which to buy. I’ve hit both I like 243 but they had my gamer shaft. Bps were right there in comparison and shaft I wasn’t familiar with swinging.
