    You nailed it. You should always test the correct lie. You need it flat if you are digging heal….. Swing looks great

    Enjoyed your review, very informative. While basing iron selection on HC alone is difficult, would you say a 11-14 HC could play the 245's? Thanks.

      @LoggerheadGolf  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Appreciate that! And yea, you would be fine playing the 245’s. As always, it is a good idea to schedule a fitting somewhere so you can match the shaft up with your swing. You could also run a mixed set of irons with the 243’s in your scoring irons and the 245’s in your long irons.

    great review, how would you compare the 243 vs. JPX 923 FORGED?

    • @LoggerheadGolf
      @LoggerheadGolf  Před 5 měsíci

      Appreciate it! The JPXs are geared more towards playability and forgiveness, where the Mizuno Pro series is geared more towards workability and shot making. The 923 has a little larger overall profile than the 243s and you would probably see more ball speed out of the JPX.

    Im looking to upgrade from my MP18 SC set however the 243 seems to have alot of offset by comparison ?

    • @LoggerheadGolf
      @LoggerheadGolf  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The 243s do have a bit more offset than the MP18s which are a minimal offset players iron. However the 243s are still a low offset iron which is very minimal at address. The difference is .122" of offset in the 243 7 iron compared to .087" of offset in the MP18 7 iron.
      That being said... Caleb said you should try out a set of Miuras.

    I like the looks of the 243 the best, but these out of my ability range.
