I just made coconut buns they were delicious I’m the island of Puerto Rico si we love coconut milk so this was just up my alley. The only thing I encounter was the dough was tooo soft I used real butter instead of margarine do you think this was the problem. I had to knead the dough for a long time and added a bit of more flour. I mean it turned delish Love watching you guys now I got my husband watching it too. I also made chicken curry my younges daughter loved it. Winner winner chicken dinner
Butter wasn’t the problem, butter makes better quality buns than margarine.
I add the butter to the flour by rubbing it between my fingers, then add the sugar and salt to the flour. The wet ingredients are then added to the dry ingredients.
Changes in humidity will change how much liquid the the flour absorbs, so the sometimes you’ll need to add extra flour if measuring the flour by cups.
For consistent results with bread related recipes, like this one, it’s better to weigh your ingredients.
It looks so delicious. If only you were my neighbour.
Tried your recipe and it’s BOMB nom nom nom had to make it 3 times 😂 thanks next moon pie plz
Love panipopo. I rest my dough after I've kneaded it until it doubles in size. Then I cut and roll it into buns. When I've rolled the buns I cover them in the coconut cream mixture and rest them again until doubled in size and then bake.
I love pani popo
Natasha Kane, thank you so much for the lovely comments, appreciate it, happy New year and God bless 😊❤️
