- Had a 1 inch difference from driver to passenger side on my 95. I read about using blocks or shackles and I had some laying around and decided to try it. After test driving the truck for a day I actually think it also solved a low speed shake I had.

Dude, nice vid. short, to the point, but covered all the details and communicated clearly. You should school other youtubers on how do make instructional videos (seriously)
robert cole I appreciate it man. Everyone has their methods. I just like slapping people with the facts as fast and clearly as I possible can
I got an 04 crew cab cateye with a 3/5 belltech simple coil drop and flip kit. I had 2inch level shackles before the flip kit in the rear wich lowered it enough to level it. When i got the flip kit installed, the whole rear was higher than the front untill we installed the factory shackles. My question is, is there a special shackle drop after an axle flip? I have chevy lean bad, and the right rear looks ugly, but i would like to lower the rear 1-2” more. Thanks
Would it shift or make your differential uneven?
What’s your exhaust set up ?
What’s up bro could this work on other trucks too ? I have a 98 Tacoma and put 3 in blocks but driver side is about inch and a half lower
From what I know this works on anything with leaf springs
I got a 5/8 drop and I don’t like how the back sits higher then the front. What do I do so it can be setting even
If you have a flip kit and a 2 inch offset drop block from Reklez and set your shackles to 1 inch for a 9 inch drop or leave the shackle at the 2 inch to get a 10 inch drop
Will this work on a 2005 Silverado passenger side is higher then the driver side so put a 2 inch drop shackle
Anything with leaf springs. Depends on the difference in height and what parts you have currently on the truck but yes it’ll work on your truck
I put 2 inch drop shackles on but one side didn’t go down, do you know of any way how to fix that
You could be hitting a bump stop or the shackle might not be sitting right.
I have a 4/6 drop with new factory shackles but it leans about 1” lower on the driver side but idk if doing what you did could tilt my diff or make everything else lean in a way what can I do? Thanks it will help so much.
Did you fix the problem?? I have the same issue
@@betocarrizales1654 I’m also having the same issue I have a 5/7 drop and boy it looks crazy Leaning did anyone of y’all fix this
@@michaelluisortiz1703 do not do this it will shift you’re differential
@@coltengottschalk1049 thanks 👍🏼
@@michaelluisortiz1703 no problem don’t let anyone tell you different if you pull the bed off you will notice the differential is not centered on both side it’s slightly cocked about half Inch. Seen a buddy of mine do it and he had the bed off and noticed it we measured and sure enough it was crooked
You think the 2 inch drop shackle would do the trick also. I dont want to lift. i rather lower it to even it out if possible
Fusion_Evan M8 yes as long as the shackle is put on side that is sitting higher
So on one side u got a factory shackle and one side a lift one I got the same problem but on mine my passenger side is lower than driver
Jesse Sanchez yeah put the lift shackle on the lower side of the truck. Mine was the driver side. So yours would go on the passenger side
Edward Rendon I have the same issue but on the rear passenger side since my truck have 2/4 drop with the c.nach or whatever that is I’m not sure if I can do this to fix my issue
@@joseoneway5065 did u ever fix the issue? I have same problem . What year is your truck
Did it pick up in the front as well?
Juan I didn’t take measurements of the front but it did look more even up front too
Are you running a flip kit??
Daniel Ortiz yeah it’s a flip kit from belltech with the Djm lift shackle on one side and the factory shackle on the other
DO NOT DO THIS IT WILL SHIFT YOU’RE DIFFERENTIAL!
