We will take a look at humanity's achievements during this age, weapons that were created, and we will try to grasp how humanity has fallen since dealing with the revolt of the Abominable Intelligence.

I really like the idea that the Emperor tried multiple times before to bring humanity to it's Zenith only to be kicked back multiple times. It isn't too much of a stress to think that he sabotaged the ai of the DAOT so that they would rely on him alone
A sinister plan, but we know that Emperor is capable of all types of nasty things
Personally I think chaos interfered and caused the AI uprising.

I actually believed the whole AI uprising was caused by a different C'tan, the Void Dragon. Because in the lore the Emperor fought the Void Dragon on Earth before being imprisoned on Mars.
I like the idea that the Emperor's children chose the lucid blades as both cheat way of getting stronger and a way to mimic their primarch who had a special sword but what has happened to all those machine spirits after all the millenia in the warp
Good question. They probably have gone insane and ended up cutting emperors children astartes, which they probably enjoyed.
seeing what we used to be capable in the 40k universe is really interesting im hoping on a lore friendly novel set in the golden ages nothing that has an effect on 40k but something that gives us a glimpse of what could have been

I think a Necron tomb world waking up from a DAOT mining operation as horror.

And it’s funny too, to think that even with all the tech, power, and resources the DAoT had at its peak.
Was still basic low-level baubles, compared to what the Necrons have had & still have available to them.
The Talon of Horus is a relic from the DAOT and could mortally wound the Emperor.
it is just speculated that it could *maybe* be from DAOT that is why I didn't include it, because most sources point of it being crafted by Ad-Mechs

The Imperium is not a Fascist Empire because it’s literally impossible to have a top down government to administrate it, it’s an Imperial Theocratic Feudal Empire similar to the Holy Roman Empire

Fascism is not a government structure, it's a guiding philosophy
A democracy can be fascist, just as a monarchy, parliament, or theocracy can be fascist - all they need is the tenet "follow the leader and slay the enemies, everyone who isn't like us is an enemy"
All Emps tech really is from the Golden age.
He just piggy backed the god tier gene-craft off the back of genius of the age(or even worse AI).
I mean, he is a genius obviously. But took him centuries if not thousands of years to create his first proto-type primarch. The one and only Angel!
That did not turn out so well lol.
Yea, Angel kinda figured out that the best way of action was to genocide humanity. But in reality I actually believe it was Emps first attempt at creating his own greater daemon or something along the lines, because to seal it away there was a special ritual.

The primarchs are essentially just that...
Imagine if they just pumped the Angel with the same ammount of drugs as an eversor assasin. Decked out in the One True Armor, while holding Big E's sword and shield.
And then just sent him into the warp 🤣
I guess something that makes Emps took so long to create is not the body, but the essence of the primarchs themselves.
Essentialy, it was part of himself that somehow he cut it by himself and give them to his sons.
@@afryanmahendra2055 in a sense, yes, many of promarchs had certain traits of the Emperor, also their soul is important, because soulless clone of Horus was easy to kill

The phase iron and null collars make zero sense in the timeline. Psychers didn’t start to pop up until well after the end of the dark age of technology. Why would humanity create psycher/anti-psycher tech when no one is a psycher yet?
Navigator gene was developed during age of technology which in a way is a psyker gene, there were also latent psyhic abilities in some humans durring that age. Psykers existed but they were not well understood.
