“Ya Girl Ended Up On The Bridge To Canada” 🤣🤣😂
I screamed 😂😂😂
Yoooo, not the bridge to Canada 😂😂😂.. it did get 12 times worst 😳😳.. I felt her pain.. Tough day 😞
I was In Houston at the time.
U had an entire anxiety attack and you didn't curse, not one time...... Wow! Don't worry, Every trucker has that one story. Lol
Gee wiz Niesha this video has put 5 years on both of us, I lived every minute with you, i need to lie down for a while.
😂😂❤️!
My lord...
She has a old soul and I love it
Girl this situation was crazy. It floods a lot in Houston but landing in a whole another country😳
I went through every emotion with you during that Meltdown! 😢😩😂☹😒😫😞 Experience creates Wisdom. The Wise have Testimony. You're always protected. BREATHE 😉🙏🏾🧘🏾♀️
Before you leave in the morning before you start driving! Always check the weather and road conditions for the area your in and try and check the news. I have been caught out in floods a couple times instead of keep driving I pulled over and waited. One thing about rain it will stop and water will recede. Then you can move and always keep an eye on the weather. Had u knew it was going to be that bad u wouldn’t have even left home.
Exactly I would have parked and took a nap. You can play with flood water. She's a Champ though
“Lord it’s like every time I pray to relieve some stress, it’s like more has been added” ugh! I felt that ! Jesus she knows my pain! I almost made a mistake and went on that bridge to Canada without a passport, i got one now and actually went to Canada, it’s pretty but I had a horrible experience there with being low on cash and lost my fuel card . I honestly thought you handled that pretty well despite the difficulties. God is with you always, something I learned and still having to be reminded of.
“How much freedom y’all lookin for?”🤣😂🤣🥰
@@victorylane6656 all of it
I had no idea that there's a bridge from Michigan to Canada. You got me laughing girl! I would have been crying and having a panic attack
Yes, parts of Michigan are very close to Canada. Years ago you didn’t even need a passport to cross over into Canada from Michigan. Things have changed down thru the years. I’ve driven to Buffalo NY to visit a friend and went to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and had a great experience.
I hope you take what I’m saying to heart.
Majority of this experience can be a learning lesson…. “Any time” you’re in a weather emergency like flooding or snow; the safest thing is to [park]. All of those situations could’ve been avoid if you stayed where you left the trailer. I understand that you didn’t realize the magnitude of the conditions. However, if every direction you head in turns impassable, your next priority is to find a [safe haven] until the conditions become safe. Truthfully you would’ve been in no imminent threat, due to flooding. Your truck has a sleeper and you’re about 5-6’ above ground level. I acknowledge your priority was to make it home. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to alter our expectations/plans to what’s the safest choice. Even when you had that brief encounter with the officer, you should’ve gotten out and spoken with him. I imagine that he was trying to get you to go back the same direction that you came from. He [at least] could’ve stopped traffic in order for you to turn around.
Look at it like this: With the entire time that you were driving around…. You made no progress. Only elevated your stress level. One situation after another.
To park and allow the weather to run its course is the wisest thing to do. The following morning, the water would’ve receded and those vehicles that were in the flooded areas would’ve been recovered.
In this industry: patience is a virtue, and has to be highly practiced.
Blessings to you
Yea that was one thing I was thinking I was like after a while I would've just stayed somewhere and chilled
I agree
As a future trucker that was excellent advice.
Please buy a CB radio. Do you own your own truck? Use the truck GPS but for traffic use Waze.
Don’t feel bad Google maps put me on that same bridge when I was leaving Auburn Hills, MI headed to Edison, NJ to drop off. They laughed at me and told me that it happens regularly. They had to fill out the paperwork in order for me to cross back over to the U.S and told me moving forward always set my GPS to Toledo or somewhere in Ohio and once I get back on the turnpike set it for my destination. Oh yeah, they’ll go all through your truck too.
“Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, something happens, when I call you”
If you don’t know what to say or do, just call his name. Remember lil sister, you’re traveling with the Holy Spirit also.🙏🏿
Forget 911, you should have called me. I did the same thing last month while in Niagara Falls, NY and wound up on the bridge to Canada; while pulling a 30' travel trailer. And just like you, I pulled into the Duty Free store to find a way to turn around and found out there is no way to turn around. I've been to Canada many times, have family there and have been trying to visit for the past 2 years, but Covid still have them locked down; so I really wasn't to worried, but more embarrassed at the mistake.
Hi you made my day... at least u went canada. Next crossing MEXICO...TEQUILA N TACOS
The hole was the first thing I noticed when the video started. But it made me laugh when when you said “yeah there’s a hole in my shirt” lol ☺️
girl, im glad your safe!!! You got me second guessing CDL school after this story :0
Lol every job has its cons 🤷🏽♀️❤️
Girl now you got me so scared, Let me just say, I would have been in tears crying on live, and if they would have laughed at me I would have cried harder. I’m 44 and your younger than my daughter, you are a super strong angel… period I love your videos you never panic but how🤣🤣 please teach me I need lessons on this!!
Happens to all of us.. Trust me (Similar experience with Mexico myself) she did really well considering the circumstances. Get that CDL
That just reminded me when I was in NY when I first started driving my GPS in the truck went out
"Blame It On The Rain" --good song
I can't lie this is your funniest video!
Thanks for sharing, and glad that you're okay.
Wow, I felt your stress. I almost needed meds and a nap after listening. My dad was an over the road driver for years, even though he never really shared his stresses and frustrations, I am enlightened after this video why he was super intolerant of a lot of things on the homefront. I applaud you on your journey, and knowing God thru Jesus makes the difference at the end of the day. New subscriber. I'm going way back now, "Keep on truckin". Stay blessed. 🙌
Why didn’t you call your dispatch? I’m glad you made it safely. Situations like this make us stronger truckers 💪🏾💪🏾
Right!
That was my first thought
"get on the bridge cause there's no turning back" LMAOOOOOOO
“My first time coming to Canada and it’s illegally”😆 OMG I’m glad God was with you, because you needed him that day. Awesome story though, thanks for sharing. We got to stay 🙏🏾prayed🙏🏾 up out here on this road because anything can happen at anytime. Stay blessed and glad you’re ok.✌🏾 ~Daniel
Thank you ❤️❤️!
Thank you for sharing your story. Glad you got home safely!!
Bless your heart, I’m glad that you made it through.
These moments make you stronger. During the ice storm this pass winter, they shut down I40 with us on it. Would not let us move. 14 hrs later they let us move but with nowhere to go. All the truck stops were full, with sheriff's blocking the entrances. Finally a DOT truck plowed away a mountain of snow so I could park on the side of the road. It get crazy out here. Respect to you.
OMG!!!!! I love your channel I will be starting CDL school on 9/13 and your journey is so helpful:)
Glad you’re safe❤️
Firstly I’m so glad you’re safe! Had I still been regional I would’ve been running the same routes 🙏🏽 Girl when I tell you I know how you feel 😭 they stressed poor Pepper out! One time I had a delivery at the last exit before Canada and my anxiety was through the roof!
First I’m glad your safe 🙏🏾! Please go and buy you a CB. I bet there was someone on giving updates. Or would be willing to give you a better route.
This story had me stressed 😫 glad all is well with you and Pepper 🐕
Whew Chile!! I was stress with you telling the story!! Glad you got bk safe!!
whew sis 😂 I’m just glad you made it back safely!
Absolutely felt your stress while waiting you telling your story. And I haven’t even started driving thanks for sharing it makes me look at things in a different light 🙏
You really are inspiring thank God for keeping you safe 🙏
Oh my God girl you had me nervous to my core ! What an experience ! I felt so bad after you and I'm sure pepper was hysterical. Looks like you learned a very valuable lesson and so did I😂😂😳😳😳
Such a great story. I know how stressful that would be since I’ve been across that bridge dozens of times but you handled that so well. Even your meltdown was relatively calm. But rest assured it made me laugh to tears. Great video!
Lol I love your videos & personality! You inspire me so much & I start CDL classes on the 15th, I'm super excited & I'm only 5ft lol thanks for vlogging your trucking life!! You've given me so much insight & I've literally almost watched all your videos
Very humorous story.
Thank you for sharing I plan on becoming a truck driver.
Thank God you and Pepper made it home safely! It’s hilarious now since you are okay ! 😆😆😆
This happened to my parents years ago while traveling w/ my son and they decided to go to Dollar Tree and they had a hard time getting back into the US !
Wow what a story. I would have been so scared and probably broke down crying. I’m glad you got home safe! You and pepper!
First of all.... Wow 😱 im so sorry this happened to you. BUT... This was sooo entertaining. The melt down was sad but the rest was hilarious. 🤣🤣 Thanks for sharing.
Praying for the people of Michigan. I live in South Florida so we haven't had the time to hear of the flooding. Also side not. This is the definition of what it's like when God tells us no and we keep looking for a way. Thank you for this transparent vlog. Hope you and your family is safe.
Wow! Thank you for sharing this! I'm from Michigan and I remember the freeways. I am happy that God's grace was and still is on you and you made it back home! I am starting my journey with school and an offer of employment already so all of your information is so beneficial to me! Thank you 😊
Great Trucking story, esp in my day of Trucking retired pass, you probably dug up memories of others from the past & even yesterday & tomorrow hey Success On & Happy Trails & get that enhanced license 🚛🚛🚛🙏
Wow! I will give her one thing, she is a great storyteller and she should be happy that she went through this!! Experience is the best teacher!
This is hands down the best story on the internet. I'm so sorry it happened to you, but I have no doubt the reason it did was so you could share it- in the way you're so good at- with the rest of the world. That twist of irony you put at the end is so heavy and meaningful. You're too good at this to have a boring life.
Yes I use to cross into Canada on that bridge when I use to drive regional
I promise you watching this entire video I'm watching a thriller movie. Girl, I was on the edge of my seat stressed and crying with you the entire time hoping you have a happy ending, and with all that perseverance and stress you still made it home! That's what I'm talking about because once we got to Canada I definitely starting to get nervous about you getting home 100x more. And with all of those lessons learned at least you can say that god was with you to get to the end result through ALL of those mishaps and roadblocks. && Yes, please help me understand how these people feel comfortable in this water!! Always appreciate your stories and honestly
Stay blessed in your trucking journey keep these types of things that can happen out there coming. I will be a Newbie in two weeks need all the help you are willing to give, thanks in advance.
I live in Michigan also and that flood was a mess. I'm glad you mad it home safely. These people were acting a fool out there in the water canoeing, jet skiing and mess. 🤣🤣🤣
Girlllllll glad you made it home. You had me stressed out up until the Canada part lol I didn’t know whether to laugh or what…..Whew chiiiiiii
The meltdown 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂..."I'm bobtail, so they already know what it is."
20:43
A good trick with gps is going the settings and turn on the option to avoid highways and it will take you other routes and back roads
I never been in a flood, only heavy snow
I’m sorry about your situation, I’m glad that the Lord had His angel to delivered you in the road, never stop praying 🙏
I sorry for laughing but you went through hell😩😩😩😩😃 sending love from Chattanooga Tennessee ❤️
So sorry you had to go through that, at one point, it looked like you were about to lose it and cry, but you kept your compusure. I wish I was there with you to guide you through that situation. As a fellow truck driver i know what you were going through. Entering Canada by mistake is a common occure ce that happens all the time as the lady explained. The worse they
can do is make you turn around and come back. The only time that they can deport you from canada is if you commited a crime over there or if you have a warrant for for your arrest. In the future I recommend you get your enhanced cdl license, It cost a little more but well worth it. By the the way. you are a very beautiful young lady.
Soooo glad you made it home safe
I got lost leaving one of the casinos and did same exact thing except it was the tunnel
Great story with interesting lessons, you are a good story teller
It's called " Being Young" / Life...but the key thing is , you surived. It's a learning experince. That is what Life is. Learning = Changed Behavior for the next time...
Wow Niesha you live a very exciting life sometime when you are in a mess Lol 😆 glad you made it home, that experiment made you a smarter lady, common sense for the future.
This is the greatest truck story of All Time!
Ahh it's okay its not a trucker that hasn't had their days but thank God you had pepper because trucking can loose it sometimes but stay encouraged and get a cb and learn the codes if you don't already have one ✌
This is one of your top 10 best videos video
Damm this was a crazy story. Michigan floods been crazy this summer. I stay by Dearborn and my basement been flooding evertime it rain.
Stay safe out there 🙏🏾🌹
Canoeing and water skiing really got me.
Sorry u had to go through that but I'm glad u made it home safe
Baby girl, that could have happened to any truckers at that time. I think that you handled this very well, given the circumstances 👏.
You remind me of the little girl from ARE WE THERE YET.
Dope video 🔥
U know now that u said that she sure does!!!
I felt for you for a few reasons.
First, tons of Metro Detroiters have accidentally gone on the bridge, albeit not necessarily driving a semi.
Second, I was caught in a flood about 7 yrs ago. I was in 696 in Warren and didn't realize that the freeway was flooded, until it was too late. I took my little Chevy Sonic through the water. No lie: the wake of a semi pushed my floating car. Somehow, I didn't suck up water. It took me 6 hrs to make it to my brother's house. Everything was closed, so it was a nightmare. Your story brought back some memories. 😂
The flood that you drove through, our basement flooded. We're okay now but it was horrible.
Road construction 🚧 an road blocks an definitely send a person into a tail spin.. I use 2 GPS for this reason.. I have a tablet mounted with smart truck route app/GPS that has a satellite view of the roads an I can locate a alternate with in seconds... it also detects the flow of traffic which is a good indicator that something is going on up ahead..
Not to mention it has a sticky note feature as a reminder when ever crossing that path .. that there is probably my fav feature... males trucking so less stressful
I'm glad things eventually worked out for you, but I can only imagine the stress upon you in this situation. I live in Ohio and have dealt with Customs which is crazy by itself
Great video! Love it! Does your truck have a Jakebrake? Glad you’re safe!
Yes I remember that rainstorm when it reached Connecticut it claimed one of our state troopers while he was working in vehicle he got swepted away.In the future you may want to pull over seek high ground and wait it out.
Hey Niesha , praise God you are ok.
Happy your safe 👍🏾!
I thank God for you getting to and from safely by the Grace of our Father God🙏 As always may God Bless and keep you🙏
Thank you, God bless you too 🙌🏽❤️!
You’re so strong mamas! You did it. You encourage me to want to do this, despite the challenges.
Glad you’re ok and your unplanned travel to Canada
What up Ma, I'm a Detroiter too. I was in Houston when this was going on.
It was hell of a time in there like I said they had a black out and it was no lights for three days and in rappers Mishka in Detroit Michigan it was no late for three
I totally know and understand those emotions oh so well
Glad your safe and thanks for sharing your story. I had a question though relating to another one of your video. You said you went to a certain truck driving school in Michigan. I was wondering was it US Truck Driver Training School in Sterling Heights, MI? Because I’m very interested in truck driving and would like to get a quality education on it just as you have
I knew you gave Michigan vibes!
Sorry you had to deal with that. I know this is old I'm just watching your old videos. When I was OTR I had a delivery to Brownsville Texas, it was the last exit before you cross over into Mexico. I had already had to go through the Texas boarder control they come in your truck and search it (looking for stowaways) and I don't have a passport I never left the country when I first started driving years ago for this specific company you could choose to go to Canada and Mexico I quickly said no don't wanna go. So I'm a Atlas girl (map) I look over everything that's how I know the exit I needed was the last one. I made sure I didn't miss it I don't typically use GPS and when I got to it I was like thank you Jesus. Made my delivery made sure I went the correct way to get back onto the US route.
Great story, loved every minute of it. But I have one question, you never said anything about calling your company to get assistance.
Whew Chile I was stressed out listening to it. Had me on edge. Lol
Lol 😂 this was a awesome video I’m glad you made it out ok.
Sorry this happened to you!. I’m glad you and Pepper are ok!❤️
Me too, thank you!! ❤️
I enjoyed this story going to colorado I was on the floor when you said Cananda and you made this face 😒 be encouraged sis
I'll be honest you should buy a Atlas book it will show you the truck it will show you the truck routes of each state state and also the bridge heights
Great story time 🔥💙🔥
Love the textures of your eyes, but look at it on the bright side it's in the past and you made it out. And as long as you are out there something will happen. The best thing to do is to pull over and analyze the situation before making a final decision.
That was a good story I'm justtarting to get hooked on your videos too
So glad you made this video because I’m sure this would have happened to me Lol!
😂😂❤️!
You just keep displaying everything narrow by and do what you do you do you get numbers👍🏾👍🏿🤞🏿👌🏿🎼
“I don’t have a trailer so they already know what it is”🤣🤣🤣🤣
Made me 😢 😭 😿
