  • HOW MUCH!!!!?? Is this Full English Breakfast too posh, pretentious and pricey for Blackpool? Would you as a family say that the price for these two meals are reasonable or outrageously expensive? Have your say in the comments section below. But keep in mind that the food is quality produce and not a greasy spoon cafe.

Why do people automatically assume local produce equals quality produce? What if the local producers aren't very good?

The UK is one of the top importers of Moroccan tomatoes and sorry to local tomato producers but they're much tastier than any UK tomato I've ever tried. Must be the sunshine I guess.

In all honesty, me, my missus an her son stayed in a lovely apartment ner the tower. It wasn't cheap but wasn't expensive. We go there at least once a year because it reminds us of being kids and having nothing and being cheap and cheerful and playing on Arcade amchines in Coral Island etc! We've had some cracking meals ib Blackpool and especially that part of Blackpool has some lovely eateries. I'd happily pay that for a good quality breakfast but I'd also have a Higgit's £1 burger too!

Cumberland sausage can be ringed or linked but traditionally was produced as a ring. The meat is chopped rather than minced giving a more chunky texture.

As an Aussie I looked at those prices and thought they were pretty good then I realised it was in pounds so I needed to double them. Still for a cafe located in a popular area like on the waterfront of a resort town those prices seemed to be fairly reasonable. If anything I thought that the teas and coffees rather than the food was a little bit on the expensive side. The produce on display didnt look like anything special but when they display produce and say its organic or grown locally people seem impressed and will accept paying more for it. The over ripe bananas or plantains I wouldnt eat the only thing I would do with them would be use them to make a banana cake. Bananas, mangos and other tropical fruits are a big industry here and usually available year round although prices for different types of produce can fluctuate with the seasons or during shortages created by weather events..Really enjoy watching your videos of the English beachside towns and the discussions you have with the locals the beach side culture is completely different to what we are used to in Australia. I have actually been to London a couple of times on business trips and unfortunately never had the chance to get out of the city we always planned to do a road trip through England, Scotland and Wales but so far we havent got there probably when we retire....

More upper-class restaurants and takeaways are very much needed in Blackpool. The town needs it. All towns need to get rid of cheap tatinus. This is something you would have as a nice treat, so it's probably a monthly treat, so it's not too bad, really.
