Toyota GR86 - what's more fun Time Attack or Drift?!

- Toyota GR86 can be surprisingly dynamic car! In this lap, we drive on bad condition tires with minimal grip. That means that the lap time is not as good as it could be. Even still, the laptime is 5-6 faster than the previous gen GT86 on Autodrom Most racetrack.
We still prefer the style of the second lap though :) - Sport
That's what makes this car so much fun: you can do both, because it excels at everything, while offering intense driving pleasure.

@@derbigpr500 with an equivalent set of tires and suspension geometry settings, it can reach the same g force cornering as a Porsche Cayman, what are you on about?
This driver is incredibly skilled and obviously has a lot of seat time in the car. Not only are his steering inputs smooth and linear, you can see that he uses the throttle to rotate the car throughout the corner. Really enjoyable to watch compared even a lot of high level drivers who you see hacking away at the wheel.
Always nice to see skilled drivers with good driving technique. They make it so easy!
That dual nature is why I want one

I kept wanting the 86 to catch the Yaris just so I could see what it was, but it just kept getting further and further away.

impressive to see the 86 get closer to the yaris in the corners. As for time attack or drift fun, i'm shit at drifting so the former, but since you have both options with this car, there's nothing to complain about hahah
depends on driver… on this track Yaris aprox. 1:55, GR86 aprox. 2:00. Same driver, stock cars. Yaris is much faster car and more boring 😁

The GR comes on PS4s instead of the Primacy's the GT came on.

Worn, and probably overheating tyres. Looks like standard lift off at most entries with an odd clutch kick here and there to keep the tail out.

Great driving and great car until you make a right hand turn and the engine blows up, and toyota denies your warranty
I am 33k kms in it and I am still waiting for it to blow up after 4 track days
