“If you become sober enough”… this really struck a chord. I wasn’t prepared for the other sobriety issues would surface for me after giving up alcohol. It’s going to take the rest of my life, I suppose, to get sober.

1st time I’ve heard the term “slobriety” A great way to describe anyone who is on the journey towards removing addictions from their life. Slow & steady

3 years caffeine free this week. I know, it's not the "worst" thing to be hooked on...but what an amazing feeling to be caffeine free. More energy than ever, less depression, better sleep. The withdrawals were brutal- sickest I ever was. Couldn't open my eyes for 2 days straight because my head was pounding. Couldn't eat for a few days. Lingering headaches for over a month.
Hardly had a headache since. If you want to quit caffeine, or anything else and you're reading this..believe in yourself. You can do it.
Thank you for sharing your story Rich.

Woah! I didn’t realize caffeine withdrawal could be so intense. I drink a lot of coffee every morning, but never really questioned it before. Probably time to analyze the effects of my own caffeine intake. Good on you for quitting!

IDK i feel great drinking coffee. I could take breaks every once in a while but I don't see a point to eliminate it personally.
