Watching this video brought back memories of a scary situation we went through in 2019! God is Good! I felt the same way Jenny, I felt totally alone and looked at those around and felt cheated because we were going through this. I'm trying not to get too much into detail, but I am blessed, truly blessed my oldest is still with us! Severe lupus sle sucks! I went through all the scenerios, the whatifs, the how do we do this, etc.... I researched to try to mentally prepare for going home....I couldn't bring myself to look for funeral stuff....so I tried to be positive. Thank you so much for sharing something so personal. On youtube, ig, fb, tt, etc.....everything always looks so perfect and easy, but it isn't and behind the scenes so much goes on, most don't share all. Thank you for being transparent and sharing, I'm sure it will help someone going through similar things.
Jenny, I came to this channel from your cleaning channel. I just love seeing how you and Tony navigate life together. Tony's vulnerability and emotions are so refreshing and real. You two are a wonderful couple!

The level of strength that you two possess is astounding. The way that even in your darkest moments you recognize that you can't stay in that place. It's absolutely beautiful to see the strength you gain from each other and the love that you have for each other. Thank you for showing us such a beautiful example of commitment ❤️
It's easy to go right to feeling completely hopeless about everything when just a few things happen all at once. I like how Tony explained how the therapist helped him to reign in and focus on what is happening right now and not let the feelings snowball ( that's how I understood it). It"s like putting out the fires that are out of control and let verything else just simmer. Your relationship is so beautiful!
Hi Michelle! It definitely is easy to spiral when so many issues come up at once or even one after the other! You totally got what I tried to say with focusing on one problem at a time! I love the analogy you used! Hope you're having a blessed day!

Thank you so much for sharing. I went through this with our baby. He had a rare diagnosis that there was only 21 kids diagnosed with theirs in the world. So I know the hopeless feeling that you are feeling.

Hi Jenny & Tony Unfortunately there are so many trials on this journey. Many we don't expect & can blindside us. I've learned that once we become somewhat comfortable in the way in which we must manage our lives dealing with a disability, that something is likely going to change & upset the balance you achieved. In the case of a medical diagnosis, it's an out of your control situation that alters everyone's existence. Ok, so 1 day at a time. Maybe 1 hour at a time. Patience, kindness, prayer, brainstorming lots of love. Lean on each other & your faith. Reach out to the support groups, your family or church family. We're all pulling for you! Sending positive thoughts & prayers. 💛
Both of these are such positive coping mechanisms. Thank you both for your vulnerability. I really like the suggestion of following more relatable content creators. I’m a huge fan of therapy and so glad you’ve found it helpful, Tony.
Hello Caroline! Seeing what other creators are going through and how they've gotten through the rough patches as well as making the most of living with a disability has helped tremendously!
You guys are definitely an inspiration to others with the same situation or how to seek help through different resources and with a faith as a mustard seed, God is with you and will never forsake you, no matter if you lose focus, our Lord is there 🙏❤️⚘️🫶

I am a Christian Believer, Tony I understand about your fear 😨 because I struggle with that too. GOD 🙌🏽will help ya’ll through this!!! He will help me through this too, life isn’t easy. I been going through my health issues too. I found out I have stomach issues diverticulosis it’s a horrible feeling. I’m PRAYING 🙏🏽 that GOD 🙌🏽will get me through this situation. Because my husband kids mom left my husband just because he was going through some health issues, a little bit handicap too!! He found me I’m also helping him through everything. My Wife And i are an interabled couple and I Have ARare Genetic Deseese . Up until August2018 I Was a Truck Driver now all i Drive is my power wheelchair. I can no longer walk . I have Spino Ceribular Ataxia.
