Jenny, please cry and get all those hormones out. You have been a caregiver to your husband child and your parents when you can but you can only do so much. You’ve got to take care of yourself dear. So I hope I can help in encouraging you to take time for a walk listening to your best music or find a good movie to watch with a soda and popcorn. Anything you’d like to do for yourself. Now for your finances which is a heavy burden. Thank goodness your husband has long term disability! If you just started receiving it but applied for it months ago make sure they go back to the point you filed for and pay you the sum difference due you. I’m terribly sorry your husband doesn’t want to be on disability or Medicare but my goodness that’s what it’s for. We’ve got so many people drawing on it that shouldn’t be on it it’s crazy! You deserve it! File! He cannot work and you cannot work being sole caregiver. Get your paperwork together and file now. This also will pay from the time they receive your application. These things are monumentally helpful to take off your shoulders. You also need to get everything you can for equipment at home. It’s free for you accept it. Work with a case manager there at the hospital. That person should work as an advocate for you and your husband. If they try to send him home and you cannot provide what he needs they cannot just push him out. You need to say there is no one to care for him. Rehearse that sentence. They will provide you with home health, bathing, nurses, therapy support. Are you understanding? It’s not a sign of weakness, it’s using what you need and what’s provided. Dear. I don’t know your backstory because this is the first day I’ve ever seen your channel but I am a nurse case manager and there’s one thing I know that you can do is to call your insurance company and ask to talk to your case manager, you might already know what it is because they lots of times will reach out before you call them. Your insurance policy more than likely has some kind of plan on it for home care besides having home nursing care you need to check and find out if you can pay for a home caregiver or respite care.. then you find out from them how much they will pay. Then you put on your thinking cap again and decide if what they pay for a caregiver is what you could live on because they can pay you to be the caregiver. I know two other people that have done this there’s ways around things and you have to be tricky but if they will pay for a home caregiver they can be paying you to be his home caregiver and then maybe you can find remote job at home, there’s so many more things out there now or maybe there’s some part of your job you can do remote. Talk to your companies employee resources because they have social workers lawyers people that help with finding you the care that you need but your best bet is going to be your case manager at your insurance company. Use that person as much as you can because it is part of your policy that you’re paying for, I hope that helps a little bit. You are very strong. ❤. I’m sorry you have to be this strong❤

It almost sounds like a type of dysautonomia that is occurring. Also I wonder whether there is an autoimmune component as well. You are doing so well in your journey. Does the unit he is on provide counselling services for you? Self care is so very important.

Hyperkalemia (high potassium) should be verified with an Intracellular Potassium and Magnesium test, not a standard blood test which isn't showing what's happening at the cell level. This can be treated with sodium bicarbonate aka baking soda...but not while laying down!!! Also please consider requesting tests for these Trace Minerals: Boron, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Manganese, Iodine...these are to check his Biophysical Pathways. In addition to testing Thyroid Hormones: Free T3, T4 > T3, and Glutathione. Be prepared for pushback on requesting these, but you have the say so and it needs to be done. May be easier to copy/paste this msg,take it with you to the hospital for his care team. You'll be glad you did❤

Endocrinology testing can be helpful too. Obviously his body is deficient in key elements and minerals. There is also different tests that can be ran to see how his body is processing vitamins and nutrients. B5 (Pantethine), B6, Ashwagandha, Iron, Beta Glucan, Probiotics can all help strengthen his body. Magnesium, D3 along with K2 for absorption is also very important. Most of these are NOT going to be picked up on any regular test.
