Abdominal region
Including the three parts
Foregut : extend from the ( abdominal esophagus ) to the ( major duodenal papilla )
Midgut : extend from the ( major duodenal papilla ) to the ( two third of the transverse colon ) that mean it include the jejunum , cecum , appendix , ascending colon
Hind gut : from the distal (one third )of the ( transverse colon j) to the to the midway of the anal canal
So the blood supply to these structure from the anterior branches of the abdominal aorta respectively

Thank you very much for making these tutorial videos. Your speech is at the right speed and is easy to follow. The 3-D model complemented by the graphical diagrams (especially the flipped stomach) make it very nice visualize.

can you tell me where do you live in england
could someone please tell me why there is a blue part on the coeliac artery?
he said " pls ignore that blue colored part in the celiac artery I dont know how to change it" on a lecture video on celiac trunk
Why is it only the abdominal part of the oesophagus that is part of the foregut and not the proximal part??
Maizy yo because abdominal part is coming after diaphragm.. and is regarded part of fore gut
Thanks but that didn't really answer my question at all
Because the gut is divided into foregut, midgut, and hindgut due to blood supply, and only the distal oesophagus is supplied by foregut arteries (such as left gastric arising from coeliac)
The entire oesophagus is a foregut structure but only the distal part of the oesophagus is supplied by the coeliac axis
I was about to give some answer then I saw this was asked 5 years ago lmaoooo. Anyway, I think the entire esophagus is a part of foregut only, it's just the supply which is divided. So your question was not rightly put. The explanation lies in the embryological development. Firstly, the esophagus is formed by the foregut, upper 2/3rds being made of skeletal muscles, lower 1/3rd smooth. Secondly, the celiac artery supplies just the lower portion of the esophagus which lies below the diaphragm as it originates there. The upper part of the esophagus which naturally & obviously lies above the diaphragm is then supplied by various branches of thoracic aorta etc as they originate there. I hope it helps someone now.
Allah bless you more and more 🙏🙏
External iliac artery
