I´m brazilian and i love cape verdean flag.
Cabo Verde Portuguese is much different of Brazilian than what I thought. Note that there are a bunch of very different accents all across Brazil.
It's not quite Portuguese though. It's Cape Verdean creole which, basically, is a language based on Portuguese - kinda like Papiamento or, in he case of French, Haitian Creole.
Cape Verdean Creole is not portuguese, never, it's Creole based portuguese another idiom.
This is not portuguese this is Creole, I'm portuguese cape verdian and I can tell you that the portuguese they speak there is different from brazilian, though they share some similarities
Well that is because it is a Creole language. It’s based in Portuguese and African tongues. It’s not Portuguese.
A mi eh Brasileru ma N’ta papia Kriolu Kaboverdianu , nha segundo língua , Props pa tudu kaboverdianos ki sa ta odja kel video li ✌🏼

Well, some linguistic nązis claim that brazilian portuguese is a portuguese creole. This video helps clarifying this issue. Linguistics is descriptive, not based on passions.
But it's still a bit simpified compared to European Portuguese. Still a Portuguese though.
Clearly people who think brazilian is a creole do not know what a creole means, and even if it was "creole" is not a slur, just a type of language.
@@utvpoopIn it's standardized version and in its grammar (in the classic meaning of the word) brazilian portuguese and european portuguese are almost indistinguisheable (mind the "almost"). The biggest simplifications are not formal and are very recent (and liking it or not it is directly linked to the high illiteracy rate in the country that ends up making an empoverished use of the language the new normal).
@@utvpoopNot simplified at all. Just different.
Esse seu comentário estraga com o vídeo sabia

Sound like French
This isn’t the Cape Verde accent I have heard.
Por que não é o português do cabo Verde, isso é outra língua.
because there are 9 variants of Creole so they don't sound the same (9 inhabited islands) so they would not be equal due to regionalism. This one in particular is one of the nine and is spoken in a large part of the island of Santiago, where the capital of the country is located.
