For the BIR filing, I did submit by COR and SD to avail 0% tax. I do understand that it's a little inconvenient since you have to pass the forms by yourself. However, you can pass your forms via online already. I'm not an expert with things like these but I do know some tutors that did not pass their COR and SD to avoid the hassle. So I think the best way to decide on this is to talk to someone knowledgeable about taxes HAHA I hope this helps!

For the TIN, need siya ipasa before nila ma activate yung profile niyo. Free lang naman ang pagkuha ng TIN and TIN ID. Need lang ng patience sa pagpila sa BIR HAHA. Good luck!

Hi po! Any advice po on being comfortable with doing back to back classes? At the moment kasi, since I'm doing this part time lang naman, I schedule slots 30 mins apart. You can attend your orientation sa BIR niyo so that you'll be informed about it or you can also inquire sa kanila since may times na iba iba yung steps sa different BIR branches. Hello teach! If you chose not to pass any documents for the tax exemption, then you won't have to take care of any BIR-related concerns hehe so it's really convenient. However, your salary will be deducted every payday (Engoo's withholding 10% tax) :

I have a question, do you think it would be inapropriate to remind students to leave a rating after class? Most students don't leave any review in my case.
Engoo does not encourage us to tell this to students :< maybe u can ask instead on how can you can improve more when conducting your class!

Hello! If you’re not able to conduct your booked class, you can cancel it ahead of time (₱60 deduction). If you completely forgot about your class HAHA which happens, you’ll get ₱120 deduction (i forgot if ₱120 or ₱180) so make sure to cancel ahead of time if you know you won’t be able to conduct the class

Hi teach! Yes, you can customize your profile with 'tags.' There are different tags for different students. Beginners tag is usually for teenagers or students. Advanced tag is usually for adults. Kids tag is for children. Let's go tag is for kids as well but this is more demanding since it asks you to have props like puppets when teaching children. We put tags in our profile to help students know our specialty. When searching for tutors, they usually include the tag that they prefer their tutor to have :>

Hi po! Gano katagal na po kayong tutor? Kasi kung new tutor po kayo, normal po na medyo matumal lang siya sa simula pero dadami rin siya eventually. You can also request na magretake po ng sa beginners tag :>

Hello po! Ask ko lang po self-employment po yung sa TIN na kukunin ko po noh? Nakapasa nanaman po ako kailangan ko nalang po talaga magsubmit ng TIN. Just making sure po before ako pumunta ng BIR mej malayo layo po kase samin yung RDO namen hehehe. Also ang need lang naman po for TIN is yung form 1901 and valid id po noh??? Thank u po!
Hi! Sabihin niyo lang po kukuha kayo ng TIN. Para naman po sa lahat yun. May forms na rin po miismo sa BIR and may mga mag aassist naman po sa inyo yun. Valid ID lang din po dala ko niyan.

Hi! I'm really sorry about this one pero I experienced this as well. I had a flu for a week pero I was already fully booked for 2 days. I asked them about this pero they said the same din. So it's easier to ask for a no penalty cancellation sa kanila if your reason is power or internet connection problem. Pero, on the bright side, at least po P20 lang penalty since it's cancelled with notice!!
@@Awebriii ano pod ba ang isesend sa kanila kapag reason for cancellation is internet connection problem? Btw yes nagpapenalty nalang po ako kase hndi ko talaga kaya i have 6 cancelled classes but i thnk if more than 5 cancelled classes po ba yung penalty is yung bayad for each lesson?

Hi again, regarding sa pagkuha ng TIN. Nirequire ba ni Engoo na i-send yong form na finill outan mo sa BIR or just the number? Dito kasi sa RDO BIR namin, after mo magfill out bali ang ibibigay lang sayo ay yong number (inexpect ko id or card pero nakasulat lang siya sa papel eh huhu). I filled out 1904 form. Pahelp naman.
Hi po! For your TIN ID, hiwalay pa po siya sa paper na finill up an niyo. So that paper (form) can already be your proof na sayo yung TIN mo. You can request for a TIN ID sa RDO niyo for free pero seperate pa talaga siya dun sa form.

Teach, did Engoo freeze their application for tutor again? :( I'm done with language test but the recruitment team emailed me, unfortunately, they have now filled all available positions and are unable to proceed with my application at this time. :(
Hi teach! I just emailed them about this to confirm. Unfortunately, because there's a surge of applicants, they have to discontinue accepting new tutors as of now. They will still review your application and they'll admit you once they continue hiring again. I am also shocked about this because there were a lot of applicants na I helped that mentioned na they got in :< I think timing lang talaga teach :< I'm so sorry about this

Hi! "Japan Time" is advanced ng one hour sa atin. So when opening your slots, I suggest na you follow the "Local Time" para hindi nakaka lito since ito yung oras talaga sa Philippines. When plotting your schedule, yung local time naman yung magpapakita :>

Hello! Students will be the one to book your class. It will really depend on their availability. Your students might be mostly Japanese but there are other nationalities as well

Hello! Based from a student, Japan just opened their school year and businesses have resumed their work as well. In short, Japanese people are currently busy. I think this is the reason :< I would suggest opening in a different time to experiment!

There are conflicting responses from different applicants but I do know that they still accept applications but the period of acceptance takes a longer time than before due to the surge of applicants :

@@yllen3360 ganun po talaga minsan kapag bago. Eventually magkaka regular students rin po kayo and sila na po mostly magbbook sa inyo. Basta open pa rin po kayo and make sure laging irefresh yung page para walang accidental cancellation kasi nabook pala pero di natin alam hehe. Nangyayari kasi yun minsan. Good luck po!

Please run away from this company unless you are ready to do anything for a few amount of money. Some students can be really rude to you and can cause you depression no matter how strong or good of a teacher you are. Also the money you get from them is just not worth it. Try to find a better online school with better students and tutor support.
