Hello! So I am a new teacher on Native Camp, and I am a bit upset since i have to wait for about 2 hours for a class( on sudden classes) and I do not why? I am also very confused about when will I get the raiting? Your vides are helping me, thank you for them!But do you have any tips for me to wait less for the students?Thank you!
It's pretty frustrating but it's really that way at first that's why you have to "convert" your sudden classes to booked classes
I’m a new teacher and went on standby for hours but no student joined. I wanted to ask, when a student joins , will her required lesson come up on the screen or I will be the one to open the textbook that they wish to study on ?
You will see her preferred book on your screen automatically. However, if there are times you cannot see it, you can manually select the material from the textbook tab

I’m a new teacher, yet to teach my first class. I heard no personal questions. Is it okay to ask where they are from ?
Yes it is ok, but make sure you check the student's info first. Ask personal questions with caution. If you use it for rapport and the atomosphere is right, then do it. I always ask where are you from, what's your job and I have never been in trouble.

Nope, camera effects are a big NONO in Native Camp.
Is there a way to request to teach children or is it always a mix of adults and kids?
The students choose us. Pretty much we dont have a choice as to whom our personality and style will attract. Say for example, my experitise is teaching adults, but majority of my students are kids. Majority of students here are from Japan but majority of my students are Taiwanese 🥰
Teacher hi. I wanna ask if what i can do. I was doing my lesson demo when the admin said that my video was freezing and i refreshed my tab tapos yung nangyari naout ako. I tried to came back pero wala then i was planning to retake the lesson demo pero d ako makaenter huhu what can i do?

Do I have to have slots open days in advance to get bookings?
Much better if you do. I used to open schedule 3-5 days in advance.
Hi, Teacher Karen. I'm having trouble where can I withdraw my salary from Alipay App. Can you do some vlogs how can we withdraw money from Alipay or any apps that Chinese students can send us? Thank you.
Will do, I'll make a video on how we can receive payments for private classes. For Alipay, you must have an AUB account to encash it. Thus, better to go through an encasher. You provide the encashers ALIPAY account then the encasher will transfer the money to your via GCASH with a service fee of php 150

So we still have to win over regular students via the sudden lessons though, right? Be amazing in that lesson so they decide to book regular ones? 👍🏻 But I also wonder if there are students that only want the sudden lessons so they can just jump in whenever they want 🤔
Pretty much. It's like sales... You gotta give them a reason to pay more because they actually do. Sudden classes are way cheaper so you gotta make them feel that booking your class is a great investment.

It's important that you can help them reach their learning goal, so make sure that you know sa simula palang :) provide answers to questions in a timely manner and give feedback right away
